We rented 4 bikes from Elmer and had a wonderful time exploring Uvita and the whale tale beach. Elmer was very helpful.

Excellent experience here renting a bike to use for a weekend. They were helpful in getting the bike together and giving advice on where to ride (and where not to). Greatly appreciate the friendly service.

My fiancé and I rented bikes for a day and had a great time. The bikes were comfortable, the brakes worked well and the lock was good quality. The staff recommended we visit a hidden waterfall with natural pools nearby which was perfect for our interests and a really fun day.

Amazing shop, they helped me alot, gave a great price and helped maintaining my bike for free (oiling, air in wheels etc)

We rented 2 mountain bikes for 2 days. The bikes were great quality and in good condition. The service was very friendly and professional, and the price was very reasonable. I have no hesitation recommending you rent bikes from here.

Got my flat tire fixed instantly. Erme, the technician, is a cyclist himself and knows quite a bit about biking and bikes too. He has plenty of spare parts, tubes and tires, so whether you need to fix a flat tire or even more complex problem, he will help. And while you wait, you can sip coffee in a nearby coffee shop. I chose to have a chat with him while he worked on my tire and learned a bit more about Uvita, local bike paths and places to go to see. I might as well wish to have a flat tire soon again to come here again ("beware what you wish for", I know)

neat little shop off the beaten path. has some decently priced bikes, name brands, Scott and Giant and access to much higher priced bikes.

J’ai pu y louer un vélo pour un mois pour un prix très raisonnable. Le vélo était en très bel état et parfait pour mes besoins. Lorsque j’ai eu une crevaison, on m’a tout de suite envoyé quelqu’un à la maison pour le réparer. Très bon service.

We hadden een probleem met de achterband van één van onze vakantiefietsen. We werden heel goed geholpen. Eerst geprobeerd met trucjes de band weer in het gareel te krijgen. Helaas lukte dit uiteindelijk niet en konden we gelukkig een nieuwe band van de juiste maat om het wiel leggen. Top service!

Ma copine et moi cherchions un moyen simple, rapide et économique de faire nos aller-retours entre la plage et notre hébergement. Ce moyen fut de louer des vélos à la Casa del Ciclista.

Pendant trois jours, nous avons découvert Uvita avec nos promenades à vélo MTB. C'est un moyen de transport parfait pour les journées chaudes. Rouler avec la brise au visage, quel bonheur!

Attention sur la route principale! Les camions roulent très près des cyclistes et il y a beaucoup de débris sur le bord de la route. J'ai eu un pneu crevé à cause d'une épine sur le bord de la route. Fort heureusement, le monsieur de la Casa del Ciclista est venu directement à mon hébergement pour réparer la crevaison! Service 5* sur 5.

Les gens qui travaillent pour la Casa del Ciclista sont très sympathiques et serviables. Bons vélos. Le prix de location de vélo est concurrentiel avec ce que j'ai vu au Costa Rica. Toutefois, assurez-vous d'avoir de l'argent cash et une pièce d'identité.

Juste pour que les gens puissent avoir le bonheur de se perdre dans un sentier en forêt et aboutir sur une plage déserte (comme sur ma photo!), je recommande fortement à tous d'aller se louer des vélos à la Casa del Ciclista.

Nous avons eu un problème avec notre poussette et puisque que nous sommes en voyage et donc avec aucun outils. Le propriétaire à gentiment notre roue avant de poussette et le tout gratuitement. Je lui achèterais un vélo demain matin si je n’etais pas en voyage ;). Merci pour l’excellent service!!!

Súper buen servicio. Yo alquilé una bicicleta muy rápida para mi audacia y me caí, entonces decidí cambiarla por otra y la atención que recibí fue de primera, el encargado por iniciativa propia se tomó el tiempo de acompañarme a probar la nueva bici, y así estar seguro de que no me iba a caer nuevamente. De verdad 100% recomendado este lugar.

Excelente servicio, me arreglaron mi bicicleta completamente desde pintarle los aros hasta cambiar todos los cables de frenos y cambios. Super recomendado!
