Vida Aventura Nature Park

We stayed one night at one of the Airbnb's available at this wonderful spot. We didn't do any of the adventure park activities but I will say the location is beautiful. Very private and remote, and the host Jorge is a friendly and fun person to talk to.

I can't speak for what the adventure aspect of this place is but it is worth a stay if you plan on being in the area or want to do a day trip to nearby Rincon de la Vieja (which is awesome and worth a visit).

This your was fantastic. Now full disclosure, If you have even the slightest fear of horses, this won't cure it! Lol! But it was certainly fun. The ziplining was BOMB! The view was beautiful after the horses stopped trying to 1-up each other(which was never), But it was the sights we got to see!
They fed us well! It was the first time we got to try simple and delicious local food! The staff was lovely! The baños were super clean as well. LiLi and Leonardo, our tour guides, just to name a few, were very nice to even us hardheaded ones. Plus size ppl are accommodated for riding the zipline as well which was great. The volcanic mud bath and hot springs were soothing. Also, 2 people in our group did not want to do the zipline, so they got 30 minute massages in place of it (offered by Ana our CATours rep & included!). The waterslide left much to be desired bc you had to walk up a steep rocky path, then about 25feet on the slide before you really got to be moved by the water. It's not a well thought out slide but I just went to the hammocks after the first slide anyway! This was super fun! The bus driver, Javier, tried to let us see a Tucan, but it hid and then flew away by the time we got off the bus. I cannot remember our actual guide's name, but he was very knowledgeable, had great English and many jokes for the ride. That Costa Rican car massage was the bomb too!!😂😂
If you decide top go on a combination tour you won't go wrong with the CATour's super combo which takes you here. Even if you take your own private tours or guides, ask them to take you here. It is about an hour and a half drive from where we stayed (Riu Guanacaste) but it was worth it!

This was an amazing adventure! We went horseback riding for about an hour, zip lining for 2 hours, hot springs and mud bath, also lunch. It was amazing the trails riding the horses got a little scary but worth it. We got beautiful pictures. The people are wonderful, patient and look out for your well being. We had a blast. I recommend wearing long pants and closed toe shoes.

An awesome location if you want the rural feeling. The pool area is really nice with a waterslide and a whirlpool. If you want you can do a zip line tour or a horseriding tour right here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Be aware that the next Supermarket is at least 12k away by road. If you go there follow the signs rather than your GPS.

nice adventurous horse ride, zip lines were also fun. mud treatment was relaxing, great way to end the excursion. driver was very helpful, pretty a tour guide pointing out various sights and info as we drove by. also took us to local eatery and gift shop.

Our family had such a great time at this place and would love to come back in future. Great people, great food, great fun!

We loved our stay at Vida Adventura! The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything that we needed. The zip lining was amazing with some very impressive vistas!
We also enjoyed the horseback riding which was fun for riders of all abilities. We were so impressed by the cowboys and their skills. Amazing staff in an incredible location. Highly recommend!!

This was the highlight of our trip to Guanacaste. It's an absolutely stunning farm property, hundreds of acres large, including both forested areas and open plains. You get to see it all from their 7 ziplines and a horseback ride. They also have a spa on the property with mud baths, a hot tub, and a cold water pool with a giant slide. The lunch was typical Costa Rican cuisine and was very tasty. The family that runs the establishment was friendly and knowledgeable; they offered to take a lot of photos of us during the activities, which we appreciated. They have three dogs, who are very cute and follow you on all of your activities, including the ziplines and horseback ride, with great enthusiasm. The whole experience was a couple of hours long: ziplining and horseback riding took about an hour each, and you can spend as much time at the spa as you like.

Zip lining was amazing, an exhilarating experience that we will never forget. Worth the long trip up the winding dirt roads. Three well-trained guides took our family on a one-hour zip line adventure with seven long lines, the last of which was ~400 meters. Our two kids (8 and 10) did just fine. The guides were professional and very serious about safety and care of the kids. Harnesses and equipment were new. The lines go over the top of deep canyons - so this trip is not for those sensitive to or fearful of heights.

The zipline tour was so wonderful. Roland was hilarious and kind and our two guides were professional and courteous. We loved every moment working with them. They even finished us off with a fresh coconut from the tree and some ice for our water. 10 out of 10. Would go again.

My favorite part of visiting Costa Rica was my time at Vida Aventura. I stayed for two nights. It was very peaceful and exactly what I needed after working my butt off for the last few weeks before the trip. Jason, the trainer for the horses was very nice and accommodating. He took me out horseback riding twice. Once during my stay and then I returned on my last day in Costa Rica to don't again. I also did a very fun zip lining. There is also a slide at the pool which was also fun. I would definitely recommend staying here and doing some of the activities.

Great place to get away and enjoy the real country of Costa Rica.

Canopy tour was great. One guide at the front and one at the end, so no worries.

Best day ever! Our driver (Alexis) picked us up on time and gave us a bonus tour describing interesting sites along the way. Our zip lining was fabulous, long runs, beautiful scenery and encouagement and patience (by Jason and Leonard) for us 70 year old seniors who had no problems at all. The horse back riding was full of shifting terrains and elevations and just fabulous....we had a typical great tico lunch and then headed to relax. We had a mud bath and then soaked in thermal pools. All in all worth every penny. Thank. You!! Kevin and Fran (Boston).

Zip lining through jungle (“canopy tour”) was fantastic! Our family felt very safe with the guides. When we came back, a lunch was waiting: local comfort food. We will definitely go back !!!

Crazy Alex took My family of 5 to this awesome park..... It is a full day of non stop fun.... Horse Ride, Bread Tasting, Wagon Ride, Sauna, Mud Baths, Hot Baths, Lunch, Zip Lining, Water slide & Hike to Waterfall... Alex made the trip great... A really nice guy.. I have little kids that were scared to try some of the activities and Alex got them to try it... They had a blast.. The food was excellent. The Water slide is a tad on the EXTREMELY Fast & bumpy side.... But all in all this was the best bang for the buck.. PS. They call it the Super Mega Combo + Apply bug spray for the Water slide hike..

Wonderful place for the entire family. Zip lines, horseback riding, swimming pool with waterslide, jacuzzi, thermal pool, and great lunch. Surrounded by 400 acres of Nature.

Great off the beaten path (even for CR) property with plenty to do if you tire of the driving. Ideal jump off for Rincon de la Vieja without paying resort prices.
