Kiwanda Maji

It took a little drive to get here but the experience was worth the time. The food was amazing and the manager was so informative about the history of the place. And the views of the blue lagoon and the volcano are a must see. This was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica

Hidden gem. We stumbled upon this place during our Costa Rican trip and what a score. A true rainforest cafe experience with the reservoir for swimming. The most unique place I’ve ever been. Food was phenomenal, service was spectacular, and the employees were very friendly and made you feel right at home.

This is a place I call “Magic place” .
Everything is sooo beautiful and it has a lot of unique things! There are farm animals, they make cheese, there are goats, sheep’s, donkeys, horses, ducks, chickens, turkeys, pigs... all very well taken care off and all super clean and well maintained. The blue lake is just amazing! You can kayak and take bath in it! There are like 4 or more waterfalls! The trails are amazing! We saw.. monkeys, Tucsans, Trogon and other bird.. the “blue river “ is totally insude the property and you can experience all the color that is very unique!
The food is super good.. they serve like “tapas” so you can choose several diferent plates and all have a “costa rican” taste but with a gourmet touch! Take this one day tour and you will have the most wonderfully day! And by the way.. all the staff is very helpful and nice!

Incredible location, we have been there for 3 days in a row enjoying the beautiful location. Very quiet and perfect to relax. Thanks to the staff who is very friendly and helpful. Food has great taste and is well served.

Must see place. Combination rain forest, botanical garden and working farm. Great staff, very knowledgeable.

Me encantó este lugar es muy lindo, las vistas para llegar hasta el lugar son preciosas,el camino desde Guanacaste en su mayoría es pavimentado, sin embargo en una parte se vuelve un poco fea, pero si se puede llegar en automóvil, solo es de ir despacio y con cuidado, nosotros llegamos en automóvil sin problemas , el clima es delicioso si te gusta la lluvia y el frío.
En kiwanda tienen muchas actividades que por pandemia no han podido habilitar, sin embargo en este momento puedes ir y acceder a las instalaciones, el lago, la catarata itio, y solo debes consumir en el lugar, los precios de la comida van desde los 7900 hasta los 10 mil, eso es el consumo que debes hacer para pasar el día, también puedes usar los cayaks, por 1500 media hora o 3 mil la hora, que puedes turnarte si quieres usarlo con otra persona.
Esperan habilitar pronto el tour de un día, cuándo lo hagan solo podrás acceder al lugar con ese tour y bajo recervasión, el costo sera más de 40 mil por persona, incluirá muchas cosas, pero si no quieres gastar tanto este es el momento de visitarlo.

El lugar super chiva, si quiere desconectarse de la horrible ciudad y vivir una experiencia diferente, este lugar es para ud, la comida riquísima y es un montón en serio jaja, si van en grupo les tienen listo el almuerzo para después de la caminata.

El lugar es una perfección! La comida es deliciosa sin embargo los precios son sumamente elevados, el menú es súper pequeño (no hay casi opciones) y el servicio es bastante lento

Lugar muy bonito, tranquilo y con excelente servicio y comida muy sabrosa. Muchas cosas que hacen en el mismo lugar, como para pasar el día ahí tranquilo. No hay recepción celular, solo de Kolbi y en lugares muy específicos. No hay WiFi cuando estuve, para tomar en cuenta.

Es un lugar mágico, para relajarse, excelente atención y deliciosa la comida
