Britt Shop Waterfall Gardens

Cool shop after the waterfall hike at la Paz. Daniel did a salsa tasting just like the show hot ones and shared Costa Rican traditions with Costa Rican tamales with us and was so friendly and engaging! Would go back just to learn more from him.

I had an amazing experience! It was nice to see the waterfalls and beautiful wildlife! Angello, from the gift shop was very helpful and attentive! He helped me find more activities to do in Costa Rica! The Poaz waterfall was too foggy, so he suggested an even better one! 10/10 must see La Paz waterfall gardens! :)

Wide variety of local handcrafted items. The customer service is excellent! Paula was especially welcoming and helpful in answering all our questions, while treating us to delicious chocolate samples. Que sabor!

La Paz Lodge or Peace Lodge is one of my favorite places to go whenever I viste Costa Rica. There are many animals and sites to see like the waterfalls and views. Above all is their customer service.

While shopping at the Britt Shop the staff are so attentive that one of the staff members remembered me from my last visit. Ricardo is his name and he made me feel like i was a long time friend; the way he treated and assisted me. I also had the pleasure of being assisted by Alisson who also made me feel at home. Very sweet people. So sweet i ended up spending literally 100’s more than i expected BUT DO NOT REGRET IT ONE BIT. I came back home with awesome gifts for my friends with both of their assistance.

People like Ricardo and Alisson are the reason I would come back even though i have seen everything there is to see at this establishment. And mind you i have been here several times already.

I am not home to take pictures of the stuff i had purchased but if anyone is interested, respond to this review and if and when i see it i will post some.

Oh, and i almost forgot. I also wanted to comment on the service of the individual who help[ed us fish at Trout Lake. He was also soooooo helpful and great. He scraped the scales off the fish we fished out of the lake and was very informative. He prepped the fish we caught to eat and was very entertaining. I forgot his name which makes me very sad because i would love to acknowledge him. I do have pictures and a video though but as i mentioned earlier, i do not currently have them with me. If anyone is interested, please say so and i will provide them.

Alison was bery friendly super kind and a great asset to this fabulous resort.

Had a great experience at the waterfall gardens gift shop and it was all down to Milena and her friendly and exceptional customer service. She gave us chocolate samples when we came into the shop which was great because we ended up buying so many chocolate gifts as they were so tasty!

If it wasn’t for Milena we would not have looked around it bought as many gifts as we did! Great service and experience!

Daniel was an amazing help. We were able to receive multiple discounts and try a few sample treats while we shopped. Great experience and highly recommend.

Daniel and Milena were so kind!! Daniel helped in making the best cup of coffee ever had and Milena picked out the best snacks I’ve ever tried. Both were wonderful in conversation and very helpful!

My husband and I had the best experience with Ricardo M. He treated us like good friends and gave us the best recommendations for local food, things to do, etc. He made us feel so at home and we went to the gift shop just to talk to him. He is seriously the best.

So lovely. Great experience tasting the chocolates, especially the pineapple, guava, or coconut ones. Incredibly reasonable prices for all their beautiful jewelry and great service by Ricardo Masis made it a trip to remember forever. Highly recommend.

Milena helped us today, and she’s very sweet and attentive. We enjoyed speaking with her and her assistance while we shopped.

La Paz waterfall and gardens are unbelievable and something you don’t want to miss in Costa Rica

Some souvenirs like tshirts and plush animal things were overpriced but they had a nice selection of locally made handicrafts. Daniel was an excellent shopkeeper and helped me leave with way more than I intended to. I really appreciated his help.
