Café Mezzanine

Lovely cafe, its clean and they pllay calm music at a nice low volume. Design of the cafe is nice, liked the blend of colour and wall art. They have kids area closed away from main place and allow pets too. English speaking, smiling service is a bonus. You must visit!

Lovely place we visited at Sunday evening. Very quiet and almost no customers at that time. Hibiscus ice tea was great. Mainly people go there for breakfast and love it.

A very welcoming, relaxed and spacious cafe - and the coffee is great

This is my favorite study spot in Brno! Good coffee, delicious pastries, and a solid fruit bowl. The waiters have always been friendly even though I don't speak Czech (this is not the case in many places). The noise level and atmosphere are great for getting some work done; they even have a separate room in the back for families with kids.

Really kind waitresses- friendly atmosphere, good coffee and cake / what else do you need? 😉

It's very nice place to have quick yet filling breakfast before work, panini and coffee cost only 109 Kč. If you want to catch desserts, you better go in the morning since they are very delicious hence demanded. Tiramisu and panna cotta are wonderful. There's fast free wifi if you need to catch up with smth at work. Location is perfect - 2 minutes walk to main tram stop.

Always glad to return for a delicious coffee, breakfast croissant, pannini, a cake from local producers or a late night beer and shots (or even a ginger tea with honey at midnight).
The place has this underground bar called Absenter (i guess) which is opened much longer than the cafeteria at the ground floor but you still need to go through to get downstairs. Locality perfect, people working there very nice and interesting costumers worth to have a beer chat with. 👌

Mezannine is one of hipster standards of Brno stred. Prize tag standard. While it is not a discount place, you get better and cheaper than elsewhere (Klafe). When you say Latte, you get it in mug. When you say Tiramisu, you won't get disappointed. Kids are welcome. The main space tends to be be a bit noisy but kids are moms and kids have separate room.

We went to meet some friends with children, and here they have good place for them to play and not disturb adults too much 😀 Beer was good, and small dish too.

Amazing place with a variety of meals and drinks. It is very cozy and the staff are friendly. Another great thing is that it is close to a lot of faculties, so it is perfect for students!
