Apartmán Beran

Apartment Beran is a pet friendly ski lodge in the ski resort of Horni Rokytnice, where we headed for a summer break in the Krkonoše mountains while touring the Czech Republic. Our apartment had one bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the living room and would accommodate four people comfortably. It is located at the foot of the Krkonoše National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty, so we spent our time enjoying the outdoors. The apartment is well kept clean and modern and our host met us in the town to show us to the residence, which is a walkable distance from the town of Rokytnice. The apartment is self catering, which is a blessing in this part of the world. Not everybody has the constitution for central European cuisine. There are a number of shops for provisions and restaurants in Horni Rokytnice and the main town has a well stocked Tesco store and several restaurants for either over priced drinks or foolhardy diners. They do tend to bring food at staggered intervals, so dining together, unless you like your schnitzel cold is unlikely. Needless to say, the remainder of our time we enjoyed the self catering facility of the apartment. In all, a wonderful time was had.
