I visited this restaurant twice, and both times were absolutely fantastic. During my first visit, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious soup, a delightful dinner, and, as the cherry on top, an amazing dessert. I had all the time to savor these dishes, thanks to the calm and warm atmosphere.

The female server was incredibly friendly and attentive, which contributed to the cozy home-like ambiance. The next day, I decided to enjoy a beer outside in the lovely sunny weather. To my delight, I ran into the friendly waitress again, making my experience even more special.

Kind and warm welcome with excellent food and drinks selection. The dishes were cooked to perfection a and the portion are big enough. The atmosphere of the place is very nice and chill.

Delicious! Super local and tasty. Service was amazing… waitress were always making sure we were ok yet not invasive. Portions are very good served. Best ratio quality/ price! We were 2, had a main course, 2 large beers each and 1 bottle of sparkling water for 40 euros! It’s a do not miss address!

Delicious melt-in-your-mouth duck with crispy skin and potato dumplings; I was not the biggest fan of the sauce, but the rest of the dish was really good. The pork schnitzel was crispy and juicy, pretty nice potato salad as well.

The portions were generous, but keep in mind the prices that you see on Google Maps were outdated, and the actual prices now were higher due to inflation. This made the prices for this restaurant quite high, but from my observation restaurants in Cesky Krumlov all have high prices like that, to profit from tourists.
But overall this is a nice place to eat in the city center of Cesky Krumlov

The place is quiet and cozy. Nice, attentive waitresses. Food were great. The austrian pancake was a surprise cause it is definitely my first time trying pancakes with such texture. Worth a try if you have not tried one before. We had a great lunch here.

One of the BEST meals I had in Europe, their beef cheek in wine was to die for! Service was fast and the staff were friendly, and it was accessible since it was located in the heart of Cesky Krumlov!

This was such a cute restaurant with wonderful food. I had the leg of rabbit (my first time trying it) and my friend had pancakes. We loved the home-like atmosphere and everything there was delicious and fairly priced with large servings. We also appreciated that the menu was printed in multiple languages so we could order fairly easily.

This was recommended by our tour guide as a locals favorite spot. It did not disappoint. The soup was delicious as we said we should have ordered another one. The service was very friendly and efficient. Every item exceeded our expectations. The price was more than reasonable.

We were a bit hesitant at first as it is a chain, but we were so glad that we gave it a shot. Got their traditional south bohemian soup which was creamy, tangy and comforting specifically given the cold weather outside. We also got their duck confited which came with potato dumplings and braised red cabbage and the the beef cheek in wine sauce with potato mash. Both of these dishes were flavorful, well made and beautifully presented. They had two beers (a light and a dark) on tap, we tried and liked both of them.

Beautiful rustic restaurant, delicious food and really cold beer. We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide who is a local. The staff is friendly and spoke English, the menus were in English as well. We both ordered the creamy mushroom and potato soup for our starter and for our mains I ordered the smoked meat special with bread dumplings and horseradish sauce and the wife had the Roasted Turkey with stewed plums and mash potatoes with gravy. Both were delicious.The first beer we had was a half and half with a Velkopopovický Kozel floated on top of Pilsner Urquell. Our second beer was just the Velkopopovický Kozel which we loved. If I was staying nearby this would be my daily restaurant for sure. I can't wait to come back.

The service was excellent and food was very good. We had the fish and beef heart stew. Can’t go wrong coming to this place for lunch. You can pay by card which is very convenient especially tourist.

We stumbled upon this place whilst exploring and were surprised and delighted by the food, service and atmosphere. Potato and mushroom soup, beef cheeks and Pork ribs were totally delicious with generous portions, beer was great, authentic decor and staff friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend ⭐

We had such a lovely lunch here! We were greeted by lovely people and the atmosphere was warm and cozy! The food was super delicious: the traditional bohemian soup was the highlight of the dinner for me. All the food was hearty and the portions were abundant. Absolutely great!!😊

Wow. Everything here was good. Wan't to just grab a drink on a hot day? try the lemonade with fruit. It's amazing. The cauliflower soup and mushroom soup were both great. The duck with potato dumplings and the daily salad with hot bread rolls were perfect. The service on top of that was fantastic and the place is just relaxing. Do yourself a favor and go here for dinner.

Highly recommend! I had the traditional cream and potato soup, 1/4 duck with potato dumplings and horseradish, and a glass of wine. The food was delicious. I ended up paying about 477 CZK or ~22 euros so pretty good price for a nice dinner. The service was phenomenal. The servers were really nice and you can tell they were bustling to get people’s orders on time. Definitely coming here again if I’m ever back in Czech Republic.

It was pretty packed for dinner around 7pm, though I got lucky and got a small table since I was alone.

A fantastic restaurant offering local specialties. The service was fast, the staff lovely, the food delicious. I highly recommend. Very surprised as well by the dessert, the Austrian pancakes were a blast.

This restaurant had a fabulous atmosphere and fantastic service.

The food was delicious, though the fries were not my cup of tea. But that’s probably just me wanting them to be crispier and slimmer.

We had the most fantastic beef cheek cooked in beer and a very good duck served with an oven roasted whole garlic and a warm salad. The beef just melted when eating it and the mashed potatoes/root vegetables were brilliant.
