A very beautiful cemetery where quite famous people are buried. Very beautiful statues. I never thought I would like a cemetery. Looks more like a park than a cemetery.

Milada Haraková: who was she? Why is she buried in this cemetey, and her name painted in red? I asked to a Czchec guide and he just said "a politician", and dismissed me. My later research showed that she was not just a politician. He who forgets the past, history, is commdemned to repeat it.

The most beautiful cemetery we've been to so far. The sheer number of amazing artworks and sculptures is stunning. Great location on a hill. Amazing surroundings as well.

Thera are a lot of well-known people buried there. Still, we specifically went to see Milada Horáková's memorial to pay tribute to this lady murdered by communists in 1950.

This cemetery was so cool, the art and time went into creating these tombs is remarkable. It was nice to get to Vysehrad to get away from the crowds at Prague castle.

One of the loveliest and most interesting cemeteries I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Filled with art nouveau sculptures and tile work. A must see for font freaks!

Beautiful area to visit during any season in Prague. You have some beautiful views of the river if you head to the west side of the cemetery. The basilica is worth a look around, with an optional donation entry fee.

It's not too far to walk from the city centre, but it's a good opportunity to use the tram system to reach this part of Prague. There are some nice cafes and restaurants in the area if you don't mind walking a few minutes.

Beautiful cemetery, well worth a visit. Entrance is free, and there are plenty of impressive headstones, and lovely architecture. There are quite a few important and famous czechs buried here, and there is no entrance fee, so really nothing to worry about.

The place even though it is cemetary has special atmosphere. Various people who greatly influenced Czech history are burried here. If you visit not only the main paths you can enjoy great variety of sculptures.

Squeamish people are better off not coming here. Whenever I told people that when I was in Prague I really enjoyed a walk through a graveyard some eyebrows would be raised. The site is beautiful with great sculptures and tombstones.
