Good dinner place with a great view of the streets. Make sure to eat outside. The food all looks great and tastes great as well. My Cesar Salad had chicken and prosciutto and I enjoyed it. The dressing was excellent. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals too

I ate lunch & dinner several times at Jakub with each experience memorable. Robert Weis, Manager, is the consummate host, overseeing each guest & attending to their needs. The service is impeccable. Presentations are colorful & artistic - the food simply delicious. I highly recommend the fresh local trout accompanied with pea risotto garnished with carrot chips. Paired with his lovely rose wine, you will be in heaven! The mushroom & spinach risotto is also beautiful. For lunch, I ordered the goat cheese salad, perfect on a warm summer day sitting on the terrace. Don't miss this venue, as it's the best restaurant in Cesky Krumlov!

Had a fantastic dinner here. The soup is a must try! The fish and duck was great! Definitely worth a visit if you visiting the small town!

Lovely food, with good vegetarian options. The presentation was great. But what we enjoyed most was the kind host, who spoke very good English and really took the time for everyone. What a joy! Thanks for this lovely lunch!

I've eaten here several times and each time the dishes are excellent. If you're visiting town and and would like to try authentic Czech food in a nice environment, Jakub is a great choice.

One of the better restaurants in south Czech. Cozy interior with a fresh menu and a huge wine selection. If you get the chance to visit in the summer there is a terrace out the front which is perfect for lunch. Can't recommend this place enough!!

This is one of the oldest restaurant in the city.
The staff are super nice and helpful.
They would like to recommend you for the great dishes.
The food quality is high.
What I have to emphasize is the price of food is really lower than many cities around.
By paying a low price, you can enjoy the qualitied meal.

My favorite place in Cesky Krumlov. Nice, friendly staff who speaks English, a good menu and great food. The soups are consistently great, and the duck is very good. Beef can be more of a hit and miss. Prices are relatively high compared to other places in town, but it's absolutely worth it.

The food was excellent. It was the best meal we had in Cesky Krumlov. The duck confit was very tender on the inside and the skin was crispy on the outside. The other dishes we had were top notch as well. The chef really knows that he's doing.

I had mushroom risotto, very sweet and yummy, and regional food made of beef and bread with exquisite sauce.

Atmosphere is really nice, quaint and old-style. The food is well-served and quit delicious. Espresso is good as well. Good quality for its price.

So I went to Jakub Restaurant for a lunch. Since I am a vegetarian, I asked for a veg. version of their dill soup 'Kulajda" (without an egg). To my surprise the head chef Jiri Houska personally came to attend me & to serve the dish. My friends (who eat everything), tasted my soup & they told me that even though the dish is without an egg, the taste is exactly the same.

I guess that shows chef's prowess over his recipes & taste! Highly recommended.

Great food, must try the mushroom Soup with dille, good selection of local wines. Waiter mixed up our orders but apologised and gave a discount thumbs up!!!

I consider it to be a fancy restaurant in Cesky. Delicious food but limited options to choose from. The lemonade was very bad tbh. Friendly staff.

A bit posh for my taste, but if you're into cloth napkins and candlelight, this is the place for you!
