Hotel Dvořák Český Krumlov

This is a very nice hotel located right in the old town center, easy access to everything. Each room has nice view of either towering castle or old town with river running by. A beautiful place to stay for an enjoyable vacation.
My room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated in vintage style, very comfortable and cozy. The view was great. From the window, I really enjoyed watching the old town turning color when the sun rise and sets. What a beautiful memory.
Breakfast was very nice too with many good quality food to choose from.

Loved this hotel. We had a room that was right on the river with a view of the castle. Loved hearing the river while the windows were open. The bridge directly in front of the hotel was being replaced or repaired so the walk to the castle took a few extra minutes but not too bad. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices

I stayed at Hotel Dvořák after a bad experience at another place. It's a good hotel. The rooms are big enough and clean. They have an okayish breakfast, especially if you're vegetarian. The people working there are really nice, and it's in a great spot. It's a pretty solid choice for a comfy stay.

Location is amazing, one of the best probably in the city. Of course the rooms look old because it is so charming and historic. You are right by the castle and hear the river at night. All the riverfront restaurants are just below you. Breakfast is good, lots of pates and cheese and cold cuts typical of the area, as well as sausage and eggs. Fruit is very sweet and vegetables are fresh.

The food is nice. Out of expectation. The famous restaurants nearby were not available without reservation. Not a bad choice as alternative in town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Dvorak during my visit to Cesky Krumlov, and I must say that it added an extra layer of charm to an already enchanting town. Here's my review of this lovely hotel:

A brilliant hotel with an excellent proximity to the most well-known sights of Krumlov. As a matter of fact, my room had a mind-blowing view to the castle. Breakfast was flawless and staff was super-attentive. On my first day, the reception desk was very welcoming, they have a good fluency in English and German. I'm keen to recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to visit Český Krumlov.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I meanwhile visited the restaurant of the Hotel Dvorak, which offers meals for everybody (not only for hotel guests!), twice this year.
I have to say: the food in this restaurant is simply delicious.
And the waiter, who served my meal during my two visits, has been extremely friendly!!!

We didn't stay in this hotel but had a lunch in the outdoor restaurant on the river, looking up the castle tower. Food was great and the staff were friendly. We also enjoyed watching the people riding boats on the river. Very good location to visit the castle and go shopping.

We only had a dessert outside on the terrace. It was really delicious. We got a big piece of home-made tiramisu. The waiter was a funny guy. We really enjoyed the place!

Choosing a Hotel, for me was all about Location / View.
I reserved 6 months in advance, direct w/ hotel, requesting castle / river view, and got it. And.. Staying more than 1-2 nights most likely helped secure an A-1 view room.
Room 201, at river-front, full castle view, corner room, was great. Very Large, Spacious Room, with small sofa, 2 arm chairs, table, and 2 view windows. Entry room with good sized closet, short wood storage bench, and padded bench, for sitting in front of small makeup table... As well as another view window.
Very large Bathroom, with corner tub, with shower... No curtain, but we tried to be careful, not to get the floor too wet.
Double sink, and private toilet area.
Breakfast was very good, offering eggs, 1-2 types, changing daily, along with heated sliced local bacon, and 1-2 types of sausages. 2 different coffee makers, offering selected coffees, including cappuccino. Good selection of breads, rolls, fresh fruit, little cakes or cookie-like local sweets. And More... Over 4 mornings, the 2 lead women working the breakfast were welcoming, and kept all very stocked up till 10 am.
Decor in hotel is pleasantly dated, but all was very clean, and comfortable. Lighting was good to adequate.
Arriving about 8 on a Saturday night, we soon headed to the downstairs Restaurant. We were promptly hustled out, as I believe we'd entered a private party. Menu Food is served in bar area, but seating was not available. We went elsewhere, so can't speak for dining there.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (12-13 Sept 2017) and it is in a great location across the stream from the castle. The room was very comfortable with great views of the castle and river and walking distance to everything. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate as was the restaurant and we did have dinner on both nights - the pork knuckle is highly recommended.
The lady at the front office - Miroslava (I hope I have got it right) was excellent and most helpful.
We would most certainly consider staying here if we are fortunate enough to visit Cesky Krumlov again.

Have a really great family room with separate bedrooms on the 4th floor with a balcony view of the castle. Staff was super helpful. Also have secured parking at the eggenburg brewery about an 8 min walk to the hotel. Great location and recommend.

Really nice place to sit and eat. It's a nice hotel with an even better restaurant. The terras is beautiful and the views are lovely. The staff is very helpfull and we would really love to come back again.

The staff was wonderfully accommodating and helpful in every way. The room was very comfortable and provided a balcony with an amazing view. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

I love here.My family stayed one night.The room we slept had one window which had beautiful view in the morning.Breakfast also was good.Especially my kids liked there bcos there were some cute animals(fake ones) in dining room inside.

Servis was excellent, so was food. Ideal place for dinner. Amazing riverside garden with view on castle. Thanks! Looking forward visit next year!
