Papa's Living Restaurant is well-located in the Latrán neighborhood and offers not only Czech cuisine but also delicious pasta dishes. Highly recommended for its diverse menu and convenient location.

Now I get it why people loves this place out of all other good restaurants. Servers afe extremly kind, and especially the food is so good. Honestly, the ribeye was not that tender than I ate in Prague. But onion ring was so awesome! It was served with a proper seasoning and dough had a some vegetables. I ate this before the ribeye come. I will visit here agian. And of course, I gave them service chare on my will:)

We arrive at Krumlov at noon at this is the first restaurant to settle our lunch. The restaurant is on the river side, the atmosphere is very relaxing as you can enjoy the beautiful river while seating and the people rafting in the river also bring some fun. The food taste good as well, we order pizza, steak and local soup with mushrooms and tomatoes, that are too much for two people because the dishes size are big. All in all, I recommend this restaurant.

The waiters were kind and polite to tourists. One offered us a table with a great view by the river. The food was simply amazing. I like the way they used “knödel” dumplings in the duck dish instead of the normal bread dumplings that were common in Czech dishes. They were 100x better than the original ones. The beef burger was also great. Highly recommend this place during your trip to Cesky Krumlov. Price was reasonable. Didn’t expect to find such good food here.

Had the duck leg which was incredible. It's not only one of the best cultural dishes, but was wonderfully prepared.

On another visit the shrimp and raspberry salad did not disappoint. It's not easy to find a good salad or veggies in this region, and all of the options of this type were amazing.

This is the restaurant to dine in in Český Krumlov. The service was great and the prices were on par with the other restaurants in Český Krumlov.

I had the slow roasted pork belly with Czech dumplings and I can honestly say it is one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The location is also great. You can dine outside by the river and watch the rafts and boats go by.

What a great spot for some food!
Really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff (very proficient in English too), the quality of the food and the view on the city from here.
A nice bit of wind to cool off a bit was pleasant as well.

We had the daily special of roast chicken with mixed vegetables, the duck legg with a great sauce, and spaghetti with tomato and herbs. Awesome!

I visited 3 times in 3 days because of the friendly service and pleasant staff.

Amazing food with a great view (outside porch)

We had the Tomato soup, Lasagna, and the Cappacino. All of the above was delicious. The tomato soup is refreshing and a bit sweet, which makes it a perfect compliment to the Lasagna. The Lasagna had great structure and taste; it was very well made.

Perfect experience

Great place for testing the local food! The place was recommended by a local hotel owner and did not disappoint. We had the fried onion rings as appetizer, the duck with red cabbage and dumplings for the main course and the sweet dumpling plus pannacotta for desert.

I had a wonderful dining experience at "Papas" in Cesky Krumlov. The riverside terrace was a picturesque setting, and the duck dish I ordered was perfectly cooked and crispy. The staff were friendly, making it a memorable meal in this charming town.

Off the beaten path but worth the effort to find it. It was cold out but very warm inside. Service was great and food was even better. We had pizza and lasagna both were outstanding. Top 3 best lasagna and wood fired oven pizza.

The restaurant was very well maintained and clean. Seating selection was great and you could pay with cash or credit. This was one of my favorite dishes in the Czech Republic, and it's not Czech. We were greeted by the nicest staff and had a great table by the river. There were a lot of bees though. The view from the terrace seating was a great way to enjoy our meal. Lastly finished off off or meal with some great local beer. To the staff at Papa's. You treated us Canadians with so much class that we thank you so much for making this truly one of my favorite meals and places during my visit to the Czech Republic ♥

Fantastic food! Outside Italy, this is probably the best Lasagna I've tasted. A surprising find in Cesky Krumlov. I'd recommend if you're in the town for a day trip. Worth a try!

Food is good, beer is good, the service is best. The entrance is a bit hard to find, it is just a small door. There are a lot of people there so try to avoid the peak time but the service is quite quick.

A great place to eat with a nice view to the river. Everything we ordered was very good: tomato soup and beetroot carpacio as starters and pizza for the main course. And what makes the place so great is the staff, they are very nice and make your stay even more pleasant . I highly recommend it.

Finally, we had lunch here without waiting. It is the first place in local restaurants.
We tried roast shrimp, beef in a hot pan, lasagna and duck leg. The baby pizza was for my daughter, no meat, but it's fine for her. We were wavering between ribs and duck leg, considering we are going to Vienna to try ribs as well, we chose duck leg. All the dishes were fine. But lasagna was not so tasty, I have attempted some times in Italian restaurants which much better than this one.
All in all, it worth the first place! Recommend!
