Potkávárna u Havrana

Stayed here for a week with a group of about 40 orienteers for training. The accomodation was warm and cosy inside with comfortable beds and warm showers. This was despite sub-zero outside temperatures.

The bedrooms are dormitory style with a range of numbers available. My room was a double bed with a bunk bed. There was an ensuite shower and toilet, with a basin in the room.

There is a large communal room where they serve buffet style food and you can order drinks from a bar. Drinks are reasonably priced (about £2 for beers/cokes/hot chocolates). Food is very large portion sizes; meals included pizzas, quiches, curry, lesagnes and salads. I was with a group of very hungry people with enormous appetites and no-one went hungry at any point.
The location was good for orienteering though I expect you will need a car to get to most places.

There is also an outdoor sauna and 'hot tub'. As it is wood heated, you must warn the owners in advance for this to be heated (4-5 hours before is ok). This was a lovely relaxing experience after running all day.

The hosts are incredible. They love hosting and do an amazing job. So friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Perfect stop on the way down from Slovanká to Josefův Důl. Great service, great food and beverages and great quality to price ratio.

Lovely hut ideally situated for cross country skiing and walking in the mountains. They serve nice evening meals and a good selection of drinks for afterwards. Customer service is excellent!

Wonderful sauna experience. Sauna in nature with a cooling outdoor tub full of fresh spring water.

Dobré pivo (místní Kousek piva, ale maji i třeba Plzeň), ochotní majitelé a spousta akci pro fajnšmekry (koncerty, cestovatelské prednasky a další)

Všechno bylo úžasné (skvělé jídlo, milý personál a hezké prostředí)

Pokoje jsou menší, ale je k dispozici i větší. Uvnitř pokoje je to nádherné a to i díky dřevěnému nábytku - doporučuji hlavně pro rodinu. Restaurace vaří vynikající jídla (každý den něco jiného, ale stejně chutného).

Super chajda na super místě. Skvělá kuchyně a super personál.

Opravdu příjemné prostředí, super obsluha a hlavně pojetí tohoto hotelu se vymyká standardům klasického hotelu - toto místo je mnohem víc přátelské a pohodové.

Domácí kuchyně pro hladové. Měl jsem kuře na paprice a skvělé!

Příjemný a velmi ochotný personál. byli jsme tam denně na večeři, bohužel jsme se ubytovali jinde. Děkujeme.

Chodili jsme sem z vedlejsi chalupy na jidlo. Mili lide, pivo i jidlo dobre + detsky koutek.. ideal :-) Venku hriste, lama, typi a krasna sauna, kterou jsme bohuzel nezvladli vyuzit.. snad priste.

Rodinná atmosféra díky ochotě, přístupu a zájmu o spokojené hosty penzionu ze strany majitelů. Dobré pivko, chutná kuchyně. Ubytování čisté, žádný luxus, ale útulné. K dispozici venkovní sauna a káď s ohřátou vodou pod širým nebem.. Určitě se sem vrátíme.
