Turistická ubytovna Libínské Sedlo

The accommodation is a hike-and-sleep on steroids. You will get all amenities expected from an accommodation for hikers / skiers (a spacious entrance hall, heaters for drying your skying equipment, a common kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a modern cooker etc.) combined with a possibility of a comfortable stay for pairs or solo travellers (e.g. rooms with en-suite bathroom). I especially liked the underfloor heating and also that everything was shiny clean and well-managed.

The cons are weak public transport links (bus running only handful times a day), so it is probably better to travel there by a car, a bike, or just hike. Also, toiletries were a bit hit-and-miss, so I would recommend to check with the property management in advance.

Still, for £20 per night it is an amazing offer considering location in Czech-Austria-Germany border region and the service you are getting.

Krásná chata na libinskem sedle! Byla jsem zde na adaptačním kurzu a musím říct že je to luxusní. Zahrada velká pro veškeré aktivity. Kuchyně velká už s věcmi. Je zde i jídelna a dětský koutek. Pokoje luxus.

Na chatu na Libínském Sedle jezdím pravidelně přes 15 let v kteroukoli roční dobu. Je to perfektní místo pro příjemný pobyt s větší skupinou přátel i s rodinou. Především cena je naprosto skvělá. Vybavení je skromnější, ale vše funguje, jak má. K dispozici je televize i Wi-Fi. Těším se, že tam budu jezdit ještě aspoň dalších 15 let s dětmi a pejskem.
