We visited the restaurant during medieval event in the castle. It happened to be amazing! The food was very tasty, as well as beers. I’d recommend řezáne which is half and half light and dark beer in one glass. Service was even better. We came to the city by bikes and forgot our locks, so to get to the medieval gifts in the castle we had to leave our bikes somewhere. Staff of the restaurant kindly allowed us to leave our bikes at the restaurant so we could enjoy the event :) very grateful, much wow. Definitely will visit again!

We where here today after visiting loket castle. Our waiter and waitress where friendly and helpful, the ambience was great. Quiet, soft music on the sunlit terrace, wooden benches, parasols and flowers made for a relaxing early evening. The food was fabulous, we got salmon, beef and chicken wings, roastet potatoes and coleslaw, every thing smelled, looked and tasted amazing. A filled pancake for dessert and homemade berry lemonade where just as good as the Main dishes.
Would absolutely recommend this Restaurant!

We only wanted to stop for a cup of tea but the menu and plates on other tables just looked too good! We had a chicken and a trout and both were cooked over a real fire, were juicy, fresh, very well cooked, not too long, so they weren't dry or anything. Server with potatoes also cooked on fire, fresh vegetables, very nice mustard or cream sauce and wonderful bread made in house using traditional medieval recipe. Everything absolutely delicious!
The chicken was 269 and trout was 299 CZK which is a very good price for that kind of quality.
There's even a small screen placed in one of the windows, where you can see how the cooking looks like - worth a look as it doesn't involve the usual pan;)
The service was also very nice, shame I only had a credit card - you can pay by card but you can't tip the waitress that way.
Last bonus is the neighbors cat that seems to be a local Garfield😁

Probably the best food we’ve had in Loket. The meat was very tender and the seasoned vegetables very tasty.

The only downside was that we waited almost an hour for our food.

Word of caution: Be prepared to wait.

We were alone in this beautiful restaurant, on a rainy day. It was perfect. Great food, beautiful decoration, great service. Highly recommended

The food is delicious.. the prices are reasonable. Very tasty dark beer. We ordered dumplings..unusual presentation in black. Very tasty country-style potatoes (although I’m not a big fan of potatoes per se), but this one is simply delicious. The meat I ordered was beef - it was soft and tender. The interior is simple but at the same time cozy. The staff is friendly. We’ve been here for the third time, I think if we’re nearby we’ll definitely come again!

They brew their own beer so you have something nicer than the ubiquitous Urquell. The staff are personable and speak good English. You can sit outside, or on the veranda. I recommend , schnitzel, beer tasting board, and all the starters/beer snacks.
