Nice hike, best in summer when the weather is good. Nice story about the eremite (As well on wiki). Usually i go up there from 14 Heiligen, which is the church nearby. Have a beer on top and enjoy the nice view. They do have coffe and cake, too.

Lovely place to go go for a walk, you can take your family or friend there. At the top you find a place where you can have a beer or a snack. And its very touristic place. Once At the top, the view are breathtaking.

The place is really nice.Amazing view.The way going up is easy and plenty if parking space.Which of course depends on which days your visiting the place.Weekend probably isnt so easy to park.

Beatifull place with amazing view on Bavarian coutryside. And as a bonuses there is possibility of cold german beer and near by is Bad Staffelstein Therme Spa.
