This bookstore has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a language-learning book, novels, academic textbooks, etc, you’ll certainly find it. The place is very tidy and pleasant to the eye, even if you’re not planning to buy a book. This place is worth a visit if you’re already near.

Workers are very kind and there is a great variety of books! The young adult english section is quite small though.

Despite Amazon, this book store seems to hold up quite well. I have bought books there since I was a high school student and all the way through my university studies. The staff is very competent, friendly and can help you even with special requests or inquiries. Also, they started playing a role early-on in the internet book trade and have a number of innovative delivery options (if you live in the towns where they are present)

Absolutely great bookstore in the middle of the Altestadt! They do have an English section if you are in need of a book to read for pleasure or during your vacation. Staff is very friendly, helpful and will make recommendations based on your preferences. Come in and browse a bit!

Great store for all kinds of books, audio books, comics, and more. Features a separate kids store on the opposite side of the street. Staff is friendly and helpful.
