Assuming I met the owner, he was one of the nicest and helpful people. Warm, friendly, and quickly assisted to what I needed. Thank you for helping an amateur, wine drinker find wonderful gifts. Also, the area in front of the shop seemed peaceful and quiet! 5⭐ customer service!

I am not a wine drinker. bit of a weird disclaimer, I know, but Francesco and Laura have made my recent tasting with the team and extremely enjoyable and entertaining experience. I am not sure if wine will ever be truly my thing, but I can’t for sure say that if I ever need a recommendation, this is where I would go….

Wine shop is located near Kaiserburg Nürnberg. Sometimes tasting event is hold. I participated the Spanish wine tasting event.
Owner explained the wines kindly and I learned a lot of knowledge about Spanish wines.

What a great and tasty surprise! In the heart of the city centre, this wine shop has an excellent variety of wines from all around the world at very decent prices.

When we passed by, they were doing a tasting and Francesco (one of the owners) was extremely nice and guided me through an amazing tour of red wines from Italy to Argentina, passing by South Africa and Rioja.

A more than recommended stop and a perfect excuse to get some German white wines as a souvenir from my visit to Nuremberg!

Franceso was such a nice host and did an outstanding job with presenting us his favourite wines. We booked a blind tasting and had 7 different wines with snacks. A great recommendation for friends!

Wonderful wine shop with a great selection from all over! Prices and very reasonable. Fantastic owner who is very knowledgeable and allowed us to taste a few wines. We bought a fabulous Grand Cru Champagne for less than $50. A definite must when in Nuremberg

The visit to Red Barrel Wines was amazing. Francesco takes the time to talk to you about the wines and explains them with such passion. Must visit when in Nürnberg! Warning, you will not leave this place empty handed!

Highly recommend Red Barrel Wines! Really friendly owners that in addition speak english and they are very knowledgable on all the wines they carry and are great with giving suggestions based on occasion / food / likes. I have recently been using the delivery service as they have posted packages on their Instagram account which is a great option if you want to test different wines - delivery is very fast. Check out their location in town and also try the delivery!

Every time I’m there, I’m given a wonderful recommendation that turns into my favorite wine for a few months until the next recommendation. I will gladly continue to support this local shop with excellent service.
