What a great shop. They carry top quality brands and the kindness and helpfulness of both Michael and Julia is equal to none. I was staying for 24 days in Munich and needed to rent a bike and they even went out of their way to open and wait for me on a monday afternoon so I could have the bike set up to my needs. I had a great time riding a Gravel bike for the first time (3T Exploro) thanks to them, I am now seriously considering buying one. So much fun riding along the Isar river. An experience made possible by them at Velosoph.
Would definitely recommend their shop. Best one in the region.
Ahhhh, and they have a fabulous Espresso and awesome Croissants.

Great bike shop!! I had a free day in Munich while traveling and wanted to get a ride in. They were very accommodating and got me set up with a really nice new carbon frame bike. They also provided suggestions for routes programmed into a map computer so it was really easy to get around. Flat or hilly routes available depending on which direction you go, all are incredibly beautiful through the Bavarian countryside. Traffic is light since its quite rural and the road conditions are amazing (coming from experience with roads in the US).

If a free day in Munich is in your plans and you want to ride, suggest heading up to Velosoph near the airport to rent a bike, they will get you set up with all the gear you would need (probably should bring your own shoes/cletes at a minimum). They can provide guided tours and group rides as well, and a post-ride cappuccino is a must. Great place with great people!

Incredible find! Thank you so much to the owner (Michael) and Andreas. I only had one day in Freising and they set me up with a gravel bike, changed pedals and gave me a helmet. Plus, Michael sent me two different routes to take that I mapped through Komoot. Had an espresso before and after the day long ride at the shop. First time for me in this town and on the trails and already planning my next multi-day tour. Well done Micheal and Andreas and thank you so much for setting me up! I also appreciated the dinner and brewery recommendations - Yum! Overall, great experience!

I was visiting from US for a weekend and used this bike shop. They were very responsive and had everything ready exactly and perfectly the morning of pickup. They were very flexible, super nice, and even helped me arrange to return the bike on Sunday when they were normally closed. The bike itself was in excellent maintenance and high quality, making for an excellent ride in the beautiful countryside around Freising.

Spent some time in Bavaria and wanted to see some of it by bike. I visited Velosoph and rented a very nice carbon bike that fit me nicely. After 100kms I was a very satisfied customer! The shop is in a nice little neighbourhood which feels like it has a great community around it.

I hear there are also group rides organised from the shop which sounds like a great opportunity - unfortunately I couldn't join this time! Would recommend to any keen cyclists in the area.

The shop has very welcoming atmosphere and team, great variety of cycling gear and also bikes. Ohh also the coffee tastes like heaven :)

One of only two shops in Munich that I could find that rents road bikes rather than commuters. An all around class act. The staff are very friendly and helpful, speaking English and German. The bikes are good quality (smooth ride all the way to the Alps and back without any issues), very well looked after and for a great price. Slight downsides are the shop's location and the strange opening times, but they do deliver and they're flexible to your needs. Also makes great sense if you're arriving/leaving from Munich airport as it's only a 15 minute bus away. Great job guys!

Excellent service and attention from Micha, very nice and friendly and willing to help in every way. Contacted through mail, he was absolutely flexible with the collection and return of the bike, bike fitting, giving us tips for the tour... Definitely he likes what he does, and that makes a difference. The Pasculli bikes are perfectly fitted and are very comfortable.

My wife and I are from Canada and spent the month of September cycling through Germany. We landed in Frankfurt and flew back from Munich. I contacted Velosoph by email many months in advance of our trip asking if they could provide us with bike boxes for our return flight. Michael got back to me in the affirmative, and he was kind enough to drop the two bike boxes off at our hotel in Freising the day before we departed. Later in the day we stopped by the shop (Velosoph) for a coffee and to discuss cycling with Michael. Nicely equipped bike shop (bikes, gear and clothing) with a wide selection of great coffees. Friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Iam not a roadbiker 😹 a Mountainbiker tho nonetheless this is a fantastic place for bikers, coffee enthusiasts & peeps who are up for some good time chatting etc....

Super nette Leute. Ich habe innerhalb von 10 Minuten einen Termin erhalten um mein Hinterrad richten zu lassen. Das ist heute Nachmittag dann auch schon gerichtet.
Super Service, bei anderen Werkstätten die ich wegen dem gleichen Problem angerufen hatte wollte mir weil ich das Fahrrad nicht im Geschäft gekauft hatte zum Teil erst im frühestens 4 Wochen geben, bei einer Werkstadt sollte ich sogar bis zum Herbst warten.
Ich kann deshalb die Werkstadt nur weiterempfehlen.

Toller Laden.
Die Leute die dort arbeiten sind sehr freundlich und geben einen sehr gute Tipps.
Ich hatte mein Rennrad zur Reperatur dort.
Veranschlagt war ein Preis von knapp 400 Euro.
Neuer Hinterreifen, neue Kette, neues Ritzel, neues Lenkerband und noch ein paar Sachen.
Es stellte sich heraus, dass nicht alles gemacht werden muss.
Somit hatte ich eine Rechnung von 165 Euro.
Absolut super!

Sehr gute Service, kompetente Beratung und erhlicher Verkauf,

dieser Laden hat es drauf, der Besitzer ist selbst Radlfahrer und weis worauf es ankommt, sein Service ist perfekt und er hat viel Ahnung und gute Kontakte, sollte man mal was gebracht kaufen wollen. Aber am besten finde ich, das er mir von dem Tausch eines Ersatzteiles abrät und dadurch weniger verdient. Der Laden ist nicht nur professionel sonder auch sehr ehrlich und denkt immer für den Kunden und nicht nur fürs Geschäft.

Absolut empfehlenswert, und beim nächsten Problem gehe ich auch wieder dort hin.

Man merkt das es wirklich um die Kundschaft geht. Daumen hoch von mir.

Ein Fahrradladen, der so heutzutage nur noch selten zu finden ist!!! Wer denkt, man kann mal kurz vorbeischauen und sich informieren, der sollte im äußerst positiven Sinne einen 1h Puffer einplanen.

Ich habe bisher noch kein Personal in einem Fahrradladen erlebt, das sich in so einem Maß Zeit für ihre Kunden und deren Fragen nimmt. Es wird einem nichts aufgedrängt und auf jeden Kunden individuell eingegangen. Ich persönlich habe auch ein Bikefitting bei Julia wahrgenommen, welches ich jedem empfehlen kann. Wie akribisch und detailliert Julia hinter den Details her ist, einfach genial. Und das Wichtigste: der Spaß steht immer im Vordergrund!

Julia, Micha und Konrad merkt man ihre Leidenschaft förmlich an, und es macht einfach Spaß bei ihnen vorbeizuschauen, selbst wenn es nur auf einen kleinen Kaffee-Stop ist.

Top Anlaufstelle für Kaffee und alles rund um das Rad. Das Bikefitting ist top: eine komfortable und beschwerdefrei knapp 400km lange Tagestour sind dafür die beste Referenz. Die Beratung ist immer individuell und sympathisch. Dazu gibt es ein Top-Trainingsbetreuung.

Der Laden ist mehr ein kleines Zentrum für Radkultur, als „nur“ ein Fahrradgeschäft. Ein Besuch lohnt sich nicht nur wegen des bunten Angebots, sondern auf jeden Fall auch wegen der tollen Atmosphäre und der guten Kaffeemaschine. Klasse sind auch die regelmäßig stattfindenden Ausfahrten und dass man sich unkompliziert (gute) Räder leihen kann!
Alles in allem ein schöner Ort, um Zeit zu verbringen.

Ich kann nur für den Onlineshop sprechen, diesen kann ich aber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ich bin über eBay-Kleinanzeigen aufmerksam geworden und werde in Zukunft immer zuerst bei Velosoph nachsehen, ob sie das gewünschte Radequipment haben. Schneller Versand, liebevoller Service. Gerne wieder!
