Romantik Hotel Zum Stern

We booked 3 nights in February 2023 and had an absolute wonderful time. Everything about the hotel is perfect, the location is right on the town square, a short walk to everything in town. We had a rental car and there was ample parking available.

The main part of the hotel is very old, over 1200 years, while the hotel has since been expanded to include newer buildings. There are many different room types available and some are decorated a modern style and some are old and classic. We requested an older room, which was very charming. It had low ceilings and the floors were uneven due to the age of the building but we found this to be very charming and beautiful. Our room overlooked the Linggplatz from the top floor but we had to climb several stairs to get there - we didn’t mind! But, if you need elevator access and a more spacious room just ask for one of the newer rooms when you book.

The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had during our stay in Europe. We enjoyed wonderful local fare at the hotel’s main restaurant the first evening, sadly we did not have an opportunity to try the other, Michelin starred restaurant but we look forward to this on our next stay.

All of the hotel staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The charm of the hotel is off the charts, from individually named and themed rooms with old artwork, to the cozy restaurant.

We took a peek but didn’t use the spa facilities, they were very clean and inviting - next time we will bring our swim suits.

Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our stay enjoyable, we look forward to a return trip soon.

My go to place when I am visiting my home town coming from the USA. This year was even more special since the Lollsfest was back after two years covid 19 related. The Saunas are great just make sure that all are turned on when you go. It cost extra though. Massages is not always available since the masseur is not always in. Make sure to book ahead of time. Being a massage therapist myself I was very much looking forward for some self care but was not able to get my desired times due to the festivities I had only some windows open. Next time!

Best ratio between price and performance since long! I got a small room, but all I needed was there.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast included in a fair room-rate and even the beer from the minibar was NOT to be paid extra, but included. This is really customer-focus.

Wir sind spontan hier eingekehrt, weil die Heimreise aufgrund des Wetters nicht möglich war. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war toll und das Frühstück mehr als reichhaltig. Wellness und Pool waren ebenfalls ganz toll.
Wir hatten drei wundervolle Tage in Bad Hersfeld!

Es war sehr schön! Ein tolles Hotel mit modernen Zimmern, sehr freundliche und überaus aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, die uns 3 schöne Tage begleiteten. Wir hatten ein überaus leckeres, außergewöhnliches Frühstück mit unglaublich großer Auswahl, am Abend 3 Gänge im Sterneambiente. Es war einfach nur sehr, sehr gut. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön, einfach anmelden und die Saunen werden angeschaltet. Der Pool ist klein, aber fein und ergänzt den Saunaaufenthalt prima. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wir haben zu Dritt ein Freundinnen-Arrangement gebucht und können das Hotel, besonders den Service und die Küche sehr empfehlen. Besonders gut fanden wir das unkomplizierte und frühzeitige Einchecken im Hotel und das auf unsere Wünsche stets freundlich eingegangen wurde. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, uns wurde im vollbesetzten Restaurant die Wartezeit mit einer leckeren Aufmerksamkeit versüßt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder das Hotel besuchen und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben ein "Mutter-Tochter" Wellness Wochenende in diesem wunderschönen Hotel verbracht. Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, ein wundervolles Ambiente, eine überragende Gastronomie sowie der Service des gesamten Teams sind einfach mit TOP zu bewerten. Wir werden uns für kleine Auszeiten immer wieder für dieses hervorragende Hotel entscheiden. Ein riesen Lob nachdrücklich an das gesamte Team.

Ein ganz tolles Hotel in einem alten Fachwerkhaus in der Innenstadt von Bad Hersfeld. Super freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr schöne saubere Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück und Schwimmbad mit Sauna. Für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für einen zum Besuch der Bad Hersfelder Festspiele.

Wir haben fast jedes Jahr unseren Hochzeitstag.gestern den27.dort gefeiert. Das Essen war Erlebnis .ganz toll abgestimmt .super Qualität. Begleitet von einem freundlichen aufmerksamem Service. Ein schöner Abend. Besten Dank.
