Best place to get a beer in Flensburg! Huge selection of whiskey, rum, gin... whatever catches your fancy. The atmosphere and the service are simply the best! I definitely recommend this place if you're intention is to spend a great and memorable, yet relaxing night in Flensburg.

85 different kinds of Whiskey - not counting the other booze they have in store. Guinness, Kilkenny and Stowford Cider on tab. House shots and drop shots for every taste. And if there is nothing for you in the menu, just ask the owner - he will invent a drink for you on the spot. Also: Great music, if you tend more to the alternative stuff. A Must See and Must Be There for everybody coming into town!

A great pub with an amazing selection of wines and spirits. Unlike many of the other places in Flensburg, the staff was friendly too.

You just feel like home.
Father and son are so hospitable.
There is a lot of whiskey and english beer, which I prefer.
Try the dropshot, it´s gorgeous.
The location is so authentic and I just love that place.

This is The BEST pub in Flensburg!! Cozy, friendly, relaxed ...... and absolutely mad and CRAZY fun for St. Paddy's, Rum-Regatta, Halloween, and every other fun holiday! :)
I admit - I'm rather indifferent to sports, so I really do not care about the big games and events they usually show on a big screen. The good part is, the place is still fun if you don't watch the game (or whatever is on) :D
The super-friendly owners (farther and son) made me feel at home from the moment I walked in the door the very first time - and they have ever since. I (sadly!) only get to visit a couple of times a year, but it's always a pleasure, and something I always look forward to! Be it weekdays or weekend, busy or not - McMelsons is always the place to be in Flensburg!

Awesome pub! Been there for the first time and will definitely come back when we're back next time!
