Cafe Spund

In our quest to find the best coffee in Hamburg this cafe ranks among the best. The coffee is very good and the staff very nice and professional. We enjoy stopping by for a morning coffee and will keep coming back. You can also buy coffee beans or ground coffee here. The cafe offers many different types of coffee from various regions.

We visited in the evening on a weekday after dinner and really enjoyed it. It has the feel of a lazy/comfortable, smoker friendly neighborhood gay bar. Totally chilled place for beers and cocktails.
To be honest we were planning on going to the "fancy cocktail bar" across the road which seemed busy and noisy, but we were glad we visited the Spund instead 👍

The kind of proudly uncool bar I would once have been sniffy about, but the ageing process means it’s now right up my street. Relaxed, friendly and unpretentious, it became a local hangout during our stay and the only bar we wanted to go to. Smoking permitted inside, but I’ll let them off because I like it so much.

Mostly quiet, cozy place to hang out for a few hours at the bar or in the back, tables, couch, you can smoke inside, entrance with a wheelchair could be a little bit problematic, it is very narrow.
If you want to read and like a quiet environment to read the newspaper or a book and or just enjoy a coffee, beer this is the place to go. Not very expensive. Can be crowded sometimes so you will have to wait for your drinks a little while, but that is not a reason to not give 5 stars.

Quite a nice quaint and quiet spot to enjoy a morning coffee on a Saturday. It is decorative and the back room is comforting. Solid owners too.

Ein tolles Café mit einer großen und schönen Auswahl an Kaffee. Preise sind der Qualität angemessen. Wir hatten hier eine wirklich schöne Pause :)

Gil ist ein ausgesprochen sehr guter Gastgeber. Cocktailbar ist eine bessere Bezeichnung als Café, finde ich.
Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.
Es ist sehr gemütlich hier, wie ein großes Wohnzimmer.

Spund sieht aus wie ein riesiges uriges Wohnzimmer, incl. Palmen und Wintergarten. Sehr sympathisch. Man kann am Tresen sitzen, aber auch auf gemütlichen Sofas und Sesseln. Hier kann man in der Gruppe aber auch alleine einkehren. Die Preise sind fair- wobei ich nur Weizen getrunken habe. Freundliche Bedienung. Rauchen erlaubt, ist nicht so schön, aber irgendwie kultig, weil man das doch nirgendwo mehr darf.

Dieses Cafe ist legendär und meines Wissens nach eines der ersten schwulen Cafés in Hamburg überhaupt.
Insgesamt eher wie ein Wohnzimmer gehalten kommt es ein wenig plüschig, dafür aber gemütlich daher. Hier findet der geneigte Gast kaum junges Gemüse sondern eher Herren reiferen Alters.
Die Preise für das gesamte Angebot sind unschlagbar günstig. Die Bedienung flott und sehr freundlich.
Wer keine Berührungsängste hat sollte das SPUND besuchen.

Super Cafe in der Innenstadt. Nette Bedienung und nette Leute. Immer gerne wieder wenn ich in der City bin.

Fühle mich im Cafe Spund gut aufgehoben.Werde immer freundlich begrüßt und der Getränkewunsch ist auch gespeichert.Besonders Peter
hinter dem Tresen ist kaum zu ersetzen.Leider ist sein Arbeitsplan mit meinen Besuchen nicht in Einklang zu bringen.
Trotzdem gehe ich gerne ins Cafe Spund.
