We stayed here as a stopover between Germany and Amsterdam. It was a really nice surprise.
They are amazingly kind, there is a self service wine bar, free coffee and tea and everything is family friendly (even board games and play station in the dining area).
Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and ingenious idea!
The host is great as is the welcoming and warm feeling that the hotel excels in with every aspect.
If 10 stars was an option you’d get it from me.

Peace, Rob P

The most beautiful hotel I have been a guest of. The self serve 24/7 concept is amazing and the region is lovely for hikes and cycling.
And with Münster only 40~45 minutes (driving) away it serves as a perfect home base for a lovely weekend getaway.
The staff is very kind and caring and they really want to make you feel comfortable.

Simply amazing! A definite must visit.

Nice hotel, fast check in and next to Münster airport. The room and the bathroom have everything what you can need. And they prepared a super breakfast for me, because I had to leave the hotel very early and couldn't enjoy the breakfast buffet.
Thank you Angelika🤗

Great hotel, with very high level of service. The breakfast offer various selection of meals with exceptionally delicious cakes. The rooms are spacious with a great atmosphere.
I was very surprised about the quality of this accomodation especially considering that is in a smaller town.

AMAZING! We would return.
We have been all over Germany traveling on vacation and this was THE BEST hotel out of the 6 hotels we’ve stayed at in the last 2 weeks. It has a true “home” feel. The manager/owner was so welcoming and showed us everything the hotel has to offer which made us feel like appreciated guests. The best part was the renovated and large rooms plus the spacious bathroom with a walk-in/relaxing shower. There is free coffee/tea bar, a place to work in the lobby with provided charging cords, a soup bar with bread, beer to purchase, towels/pillows/blankets at your disposal which is so nice. I’d definitely recommend for other guests to book here. It’s located only 20min away from FMO airport. It’s too bad that we could only stay one night here.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, the owner was very considerate and had obviously put alot of effort and consideration into the design of the hotel. The lobby/lounge/bar area is very relaxing with self service bar 24/7 and complimentary high quality tea/ coffee bar , which also available 24/7. Really nice that you can bring takeaway food and enjoy at dining tables with cutlery and plates which are more comfortable than most restaurants. First Class Hotel for the Price !

This is a beautiful hotel with rooms currently being refurbished to a very high standard. We arrived at this hotel by chance late at night after travelling from the Czech Republic on route back to the UK after the hotel we had booked let us down. Despite the late hour, Hannes welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable - all done virtually using the smart check-in. There is an open bar, so we were able to enjoy a glass of wine and a beer before getting the best night’s sleep of our holiday. The following morning, we had a fantastic continental breakfast in the restaurant which is tastefully decorated and showcases the history of Riesenbeck. The hotel is well sound-proofed and insulated, we were able get parked easily and the staff were excellent. We really hope we get an opportunity to return.

Just came back from a 1 night stay at Stadthotel Riesenbeck. What a great experience. The hotel is 5 min drive from A30 going into Holland from Germany. Area is very quiet. Service is very warm and friendly. Breakfast was freshly made and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and warm.

A good and well-maintained hotel.
There was renovation work going on during our stay. But this was neatly taken into account when allocating the room. So no inconvenience experienced.
The bar is open 24 hours and operates on a trust basis. Grab your own drink, wine, beer, nibbles or even a soup and write it down on the list that comes with it. You can get unlimited coffee and tea and these are free.
Neat large lobby/lounge/bar where you can also have food from nearby restaurants delivered. Hotel does not have its own hot kitchen. Plenty of options for charging laptops and telephones (USB connections) available. Both in the room and in the lounge. Breakfast includes a wide choice of sandwiches and spreads. All this from a local butcher and baker. Buying locally is promoted. Wifi is available everywhere and fast. You don't need a key. During check-in you can create a personal PIN that serves as the key to the room and front door. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and clean. Ditto for the bathroom. The bed was a good box spring that did not sag.
Free parking is available everywhere nearby.
In short, this hotel is highly recommended. Obviously not so impersonal hotel from some big commercial hotel company

This friendly and lovely hotel is located in the centre of Riesenbeck just a short walking distance from every thing you would need. I must say I was really blown away by the concept as whole particularly the friendliness of the staff.

The atmosphere in the bar ( self service 24/7) is very cool and laid back. The decor in this hotel is rather artsy and audacious. I’d definitely recommend a stay here when in Riesenbeck

Excellent hotel with a great breakfast and fast WiFi. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and warm with modern decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurants within a minute walk. Will be sure to come back when needing to stay in this area. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here spontaneously on a bike trip across Germany and Holland. It was late, pitch black and raining and we were in the middle of nowhere. This was the closest hotel to us (45min ride) and we called up to reserve a room. They had one room left with a single bed and set up a second sleeping bed on the floor. A key was left out for us in the lockbox, so we could let ourselves into the room when we arrived. We sorted out the bill and credit card details in the morning over the most DELIGHTFUL breakfast buffet, with fresh scrambled eggs and a wonderful selection of fresh breads, meats, cheeses and jams. Steaming hot coffee waiting at the table, and a wonderful selection of tea and juices. Best value and highest quality hotel breakfast we’ve enjoyed in a lot of travels! Highly recommended for those passing through the area. Many thanks!

I travelled to Riesenbeck because I am currently undertaking a long distance walk from Holland to Poland, a foot journey that lasts two months in total. On the way to Riesenbeck I got badly injured due to a painful blister, which caused me to seek refuge in Riesenbeck as I could not walk any further. The host of the hotel welcomed me with open arms. Even though there were no rooms available, he helped me out by letting me set up my tent in the garage. He even gave me a key to the hotel so I could make use of the toilet and get coffee and what not. He truly saved me in desperate times!! I am very greatful for this gesture, which makes me recommend this hotel as a 5/5. Top host! I don't know about the rooms since I didn't sleep there, but given how nice the lobby and dining room looks like, it must be a great place to stay!

Absolutely wonderful place. Hotel owner is a dictionary definition of the perfect host. Place is clean, tidy, spacious and gives you a feeling like you are at your own home. This place is a must if you want to relax.

The room was very nice and they provided an extra bed and linens that we required. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service was that of a five star hotel. Breakfast was amazing. This will be my go to hotel in Riesenbeck!

The owner of the hotel is really friendly. It seems that he really cares about the wellbeing of its clients. With a lot of small details, he tries to make the visitors feel home.

To give an example: There is a living room, where people can drink several types of good tee for free or take beer & wine out of a refrigerator on their own (against a small fee) meanwhile they can watch Netflix or play Playstation on a huge screen.

The breakfast is small, but also has some extras that make feel you home. Like (really) fresh prepared eggs, desserts from the nearby bakery or again the nice tee I already mentioned.
