LEGO Bridge

It is just a painted bridge, but it is well done and maintained.

The wife is a big Lego fan, so we popped here on our way through germany

It's just a bridge that is painter to look like it was constructed out of Lego blocks. It's nice for a short walk around the neighborhood.

Very nice and original bridge! Yes it’s not in the center but also not very far from it, about 40-50 minutes from main station. And you can take cool pictures there.

Clever idea, but it has to be looked at from not too far, otherwise the whole illusion doesn't work.
It's definitely worth a detour just to look at it, however small it may be.
If you're walking by Nordbahnstraße, you have to make quite a big detour to see it, even though you're marching on top of it.

A relatively remote bridge from the city centre, where they have imaginatively painted lego blocks on it to make it look like it's made of lego blocks. If anyone wishes to go I suggest using public transport as there is a bus stop nearby. There is nothing else to see in the surrounding area.

I drive and walk under it to my work in Dhl- Wuppertal Nord everyday, it's quite a nostalgia to childhood.

Ein schönes Beispiel dafür, wie mit viel Fantasie, wenig Aufwand und geringen Kosten ein Unikat erschaffen werden kann, das weit über die Stadtgrenzen hinaus bekannt geworden ist.

Ich habe die Brücke das erste Mal bei einer Fahrt kennengelernt und mein Eindruck war sehr positiv.

Die Brücke liegt nahe einer größeren Straße und nur 1 km von der A46. Das parken an der Straße kann an manchen Tagen zu Problemen führen, wobei man auch am Landgericht parken kann, was zur einem 1 Stündingen Weg durch den Botanischen Garten führt. Wenn man in der nähe ist, dann lohnt sich ein Abstecher in die Schwesterstraße allemals.
Tipp: Für das Auto-Navi die Adresse Schwesterstraße 5, 42285 Wuppertal eingeben.

Ein echter Hingucker! Es lohnt sich, sich die LEGO Brücke, das Kunstwerk von Streetart-Künstler megx, mal aus der Nähe anzuschauen. Direkt über diese Brücke verläuft zudem die wunderbare Wuppertaler Nordbahntrasse. Auch hier lohnt sich ein Besuch bzw. eine Radtour.
