Vogelweh Commissary

I had a fantastic experience at this commissary! The aisles were well-organized, making it easy to find everything on my list. The staff members were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist me. The store had a wide variety of fresh produce, and the quality was excellent. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the store, which created a pleasant shopping environment. The checkout process was quick and efficient. Overall, it was a great shopping experience, and I will definitely be returning!

I like that it is usually more stocked than Ramstein. Smaller is better too. It’s cozy and friendlier and the ATM is close by.

Great for Sunday shopping trips when everything else in Germany is closed. A great selection of just about everything. Truly, a nice little commissary.

Great place! Even though It is not as big as Ramstein, they have everything you need. They have a small selection of plants, beautiful flowers and evergreens. Check for the fresh delicious rotisserie chicken and barbecue ribs near the cashier place. They go faster because everyone loves them. I heard good comments about their fresh sandwiches...I need to try them. There is a community bank and ATM right next to it with great service. Plenty of parking.

It has great selections its near where we live and the lines are not that long compared to ramstein's. I would recommend going here for quick grocery shopping. I like the array of house plants you can buy especially spring is coming up here in germany!

Great selections throughout the store. Slightly smaller than it's sister location at RAB always well-stocked.

“The other commissary” we love this place. The staff is great and you don’t have to deal with the amount of people you do at Ramstein’s commissary. Has everything you need just a smaller quantity. Bakery and sandwich section are nice. Go durning the week around 1400 and no one is there.

Smaller commissary in the area but quiet and never crowded. Has everything the others do and can get in and out quickly with barely any lines for checkout. I love coming here to do my shopping. I drive the extra 10 mins past Ramstein to do so.

Much more organized and easier to get around. Also, they're deli makes sandwiches unlike Ramstein Commissary who puts their meat and fixings out the morning of. Easily located with no traffic. I just wish the commissary had chicken like the economy. So much better

Very nice Commissary…puts Ramstein Commissary to shame. The employees at Vogelweh were extremely friendly and professional. I wish other businesses and employees would take note. THIS is customer service done right.

Great commissary, not too crowded most times I've been. Produce looks good, meat is typically previously frozen but not too expensive.

I recommend.

A place to get groceries for Military personal only. Adding this here so people don't think everybody can shop there. They have nice people that work there. Very good selection in produce. Terrible meat selection.

Military people are provided with a wide range of options at this commissary. If you've ever been to a commissary before, it's exactly what you'd expect and more. And by the way, the sandwiches here are actually quite good! If you want a delicious combo, try: wheat bread, turkey, ham, salami, your choice of vegetables, mayo and BBQ sauce. LOVE THIS PLACE !!! THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE ARE ALWAYS !!! SO NICE AND HELPFUL....WHICH IS WHY I DRIVE FROM RAMSTEIN TO SHOP THERE. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.

Always have a wide variety and many specialty items I am looking for when shopping. Love the friendliness of this store and at home feeling!

It's never crowded. The selection isn't as large as Ramstein's commissary but, they always have what I need.

Prefer this one over ramstein. The service here is much better and people aren't rude. The deli is great. Healthy option and well priced.

Commissary very tidy, clean restrooms, friendly clerks, not cluttered up, and very spacey isles.
Pretty quick check-out also.

Great Commissary with all your needs basically on base. Sandwich shop in the bakery is great too.

Smaller selection compared to Ramstein, but it everything you should need. We enjoy the self checkout
