Hotel & Restaurant Brauhaus Wittenberg

Excellent kind and helpful staff who were warm and welcoming. Food in the restaurant is excellent and the in house beer too. Quiet at night and excellent entertainment evenings too. We attended a Märchen Dinner (fairytale dinner) one night that was the most fun in 6 Courses I've ever had over dinner.

We were visiting Germany and had our Thanksgiving day dinner there. The waiter was very kind and friendly. The schnitzel was a large portion and tasted very good, and so did the beer. Atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.

Well, I just stepped off the train and was looking for a good breakfast.

Walked through the Straße for a while and sort of wandered into the Brauhaus to find the nicest kellnerin that explained to me that the breakfast buffet was set up for hotel guests. Well, I asked her how a street guest could join the buffet and she smiled and said ever-so-kindly: "zwölf euro."

Wonderful buffet, I did not have to eat anything more for the rest of the day.

Food was absolutely delicious! Beer was also really tasty. For the food quality prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Also our waiter was really nice! He was singing the whole time. He was really attentive!

Really nice courtyard seating and the food was delicious. My family had schnitzl, the giant bratwurst, and chicken nuggets/fries for the kids. Probably some of the better schnitzel I've had on this trip. Only wish they had a smaller brat portion for my 3yo.

We ate here three times, we liked the food so well. The pork liver was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fresh-baked pretzel (served with salad; it makes a perfect lunch) was warm and just the right amount of chewy. The house beers are perfect accompaniments. One of our party is vegetarian and he found suitable menu options (not always easy in these parts).

As is often the case in this part of Germany, few of the waitstaff speak English, and fewer speak it well. However, an English menu is available; pointing at menu items works fine, and we found all the staff, English speaking or not, to be welcoming.

Very nice restaurant with traditional German food. We came here with family after Christmas and they had a buffet available. Good selection and delicious food. Very conveniently located wothink the town centre and found within a nicely decorated courtyard.

Nice traditional restaurant with big courtyard and original German food and home brewed beers. You can also visit the brewery in a guided tour.

Nice location just off the main street of Wittenberg, the beer is very good and has been delicious both times I've visited.

Excellent food and even better beer. Be sure to stop in here, even if it's just for the local beers.

Mittagstisch zum Sonntag. Dadurch daß es viel platz auf zwei Etagen gibt, kann man auch ohne Reservierung Chance auf einen Tisch haben. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Service Team super angenehm und aufmerksam. Hund und Kleinkind waren herzlich willkommen. Für Kids gibt's die volle Infrastruktur - Hochstuhl, Wickeltisch und Spielecke.
Hauseigenes Bier (Pils & dunkel getestet; schmackhaft), sowie Schnitzel und Ochsenbäckchen stimmig und lecker. Danke an die crew!
