Union Film Theater Bochum

Just a heads up that if they say the movie starts at 7:30, it actually starts at 7:55 after you watch 25 minutes of adds. It’s cool to pay money AND watch adds! It’s like capitalism+ ! 5 stars!

A cinema between tradition and modernity. Union has a very good hygenic concept regarding the prevention of Cov-2 infection. A ticket costs about 10 to 13,50 Euros depending on the movie you want to see. Unfortunately, there a only a few people watching the movies.

They have original version movies playing every night. Love it! Friendly staff and not a crowded cinema at all. Best of all, it's located in Bermuda3eck so you can have some good food before or after the movie.

I called to cancel tickets no problem, I called to change tickets no problem, I ran late and called to ask them to save my tickets no problem.

And best: the snacks are not outrageously expensive.

Watched an indian movie last year with friends and it was a quite an experience. Comfortable seats with reasonable price.

This is one of the only places that run movies in English in the area. It is very cozy and comfy, it has an old movie theather appeal that I really like.

I think it's a good price for 6 Euros with student ID.
The chairs are comfortable and the screen is big.

Great place to watch movie. Generally good crowd. Some movies available in Original language. Delicious popcorn. This is where I usually go to watch movies. Relatively fair prices.

Great place for movies. In the heart of Bochum, Bermuda Triangle. So much better than all multiplex cinemas.

Very affordable cinema experience with good seating, snacks and beverages. Some halls have small screens though.

OV Movies! It’s something we need here in NRW. Watching movie in original version is a way than with a bad chosen dubbing, so I’m really grateful for this possibility!

Some of the cinema rooms are small. But hey, they have a lot of movies with the original dubbing.

I really enjoyed the stay there. Nice staff, clean environment and a lovely, classic atmosphere.
