Mercure Hotel Bochum City

Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

Nice and modern hotel, well located and with private, secure parking. The staff is really kind and enthusiastic. The food was delicious throughout our entire stay; breakfast, business lunch, coffee breaks and dinner. The rooms are nicely renovated and are well equipped.

Best location in Bochum (although within the region I would advise against staying in Bochum)

The hotel is ideally situated, close to the bus and train station. The hotel is operated by friendly staff who were happy to assist me with my requirements. The room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much indeed and intend returning in the future.

Business stay, the hotel has all you need for a business satay, good breakfast, good internet, comfortable bed and bathroom with enough space. Greaty location for after work drinks and food.

We had booked this hotel for a business conference.
The room was well organised, had everything to conduct the meeting smoothly. The place is maintained very well.
There were also good lunch options, even for vegetarians. The lunch spread was good.
The staff were very courteous. Did not find any improvement points for them.

I found the hotel to be disabled friendly.

Good size rooms, work desk a little small bu OK. WiFi is fast. Parking is underground at the back of the hotel. Lots of spaces. Very tight turn at entrance. You can pay your parking in advance when you check in, saves a lot of grief. Food is good but the menu is limited, just go outside for variety.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and underground parking. Rooms are to a very good standard with comfy beds & pillows, restaurant provides a good breakfast with plenty of seats at peak times. Great central location. Photo is the view from the rear of the hotel.

Excellent hotel located just opposite the Bochum railway station. Excellent rooms and great breakfast spread. Very close to the Bermuda Triangle and shopping roads in Bochum. All in all, an excellent and convenient place to stay. But be aware - room prices vary a lot depending on the time of reservation and prices can be quite higher than other hotels nearby!

Coming from America where the service level MUST meet the customers highest expectations, your staff does this and more. There are very few hotels in Germany than can match the culture you have created here at the Park Inn. Probably the best hotel in Bochum. Staff are friendly, unobtrusive and very helpful. Food is first class and served with Fiege Pils. Always my first choice when in Bochum. Cannot praise highly enough.

Hotel is gorgeous. Comfortable beds. Clean and provides free WiFi, coffee/tea facilities. Breakfast at the hotel has a wide range and great transport links with walking distance to local shops.

Excellent location just outside Bochum HBF and much better service and facilities than other nearby business hotels. Would definitely recommend for short stays for business trips.

I arrived late at night, but the reception rings 24/7, they were nice and gave us good tips. The room was clean and quiet, exactly what I hoped for during a quick overnight
