Restaurant One & Only

We came on a weekend so no tasting menu were available. (It would have been nice though)
Service was very good! At one point the waiter asked what languages I spoke (other than English) and I said mandarin, she offered the menu in mandarin, so menu comes in multiple languages here ^^
We went with 3 course menu each of us and got different things to share of course.

The Iberico steak was definitely the highlight for me! 😋
The wine was also very nice! Everything was good!
I've had better Tarte tatin in France of course but hey! It was still good! And I know where I am so everything met the expectation 😎

Very professional and attentive service. To begin with, I ordered a glass of Riesling from Rheingau. The waitress poured me a sample of wine to taste and I found it wasn't cold enough so she shortly came back with a new bottle just out of the fridge.
My husband and I both ordered the three-course menu. We liked the "menu options " they offer. Instead of English, I tried Chinese and finally, I chose German. They even have Japanese.

Serving time, and portions were just right(for my husband😅) After the desserts I could hardly get up from the chair.

After all, we had a very lovely evening at this place.

Everything was sublime, the chef is very young and talented, her food is out of this world, the presentation of each dish was more than perfect and so delicious!!! The service on point, our waitress was very polite, friendly and could speak our 3 languages, the place in general is very clean, quiet, just a perfect place in every way!!

Cosy restaurant, excellent food and very attentive & kind service make this place very special. We went for 3 course and 4 course menu and absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed how nicely and stylish place was decorated. Definitely will come back again.

Incredible experience! Super nice service, the staff talks several languages (German, English and French!!! Amazing), the restaurant is modern and of course the most important : the food was DELICIOUS!!!! We did not expect that! We had a perfect night! Many thanks for that! We will for sure come back!! This was my second time dining at the One and Only in aachen. All I can say is..... first class restaurant. The chef/owner was a wonderful and gracious host. The chef who prepared our dishes was not only really Hot! but extremely talented. Best scallops some we ever had. Carrot soup!! freakin awesome! Can't say enough..... l wanted to propose.... might have to move here

This is a situation where there are not enough stars!! Came here with two travelling Americans and one die hard German and we all loved it equally!! We had the flank steak which was perfection, the rabbit which was the divine, and my favorite, the lamb which was heavenly!!! One of the friends who is a creme brulee expert, said this was the best creme brulee she's ever had !! The chef, who was half my age, came out and kindly chatted with us and shared a little bit about the history and making of the meal!! And I cannot say enough about our waiter who was knowledgeable, attentive, yet gave us time to chat as well!! Professional but very nice!! :) 10 stars out of 5!! :)

Incredibly friendly staff, exquisitely crafted dishes in a cozy setting. One of the best dinners I have had in Aachen.

Wonderful service followed by wonderful food. Love the attention to detail and how well thought out everything was. Definitely a place to come back to, if ever we're in Aachen again.
