Shluk - The Coffee Shop

A tiny vegan café that offers a moderate number of freshly baked goods, most of them sweet with a few exceptions. Very helpful and polite barista, excellent coffee, especially their caramel crunch latte – delicious! The sweet potato chocolate cake was very rich, almost a tad too much (maybe an addition of some red fruit would balance it off nicely?) but tasty nonetheless, with a wonderfully creamy texture.
The space inside can get airless and overcrowded but on a good day one can enjoy the weather at one of their outdoor tables.
Unfortunately no WC but that's a given considering the restricted space.
I'll definitely swing by the next time I visit trier. 🫰☕✨

I just had the most amazing experience at Shluk! The owner's passion really shines through in every aspect of the restaurant. The tomato pesto roll was an absolute hit, bursting with flavor and freshness. Let me tell you about their matcha latte - it was so smooth and silky, a perfect balance of earthy and creamy. Even though I'm not usually a fan of vegan food, Shluk is definitely an exceptional place that exceeded all my expectations. Can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!

The most delicious coffee so far! The ambiance is really great. I travelled with the dog so I took a latte to go. Before we left Trier I had to take another one because it was so amazing.
If near Trier, I highly recommend you visit!

The barista is very friendly, and he knows English very well. The coffee was great, even though this coffee shop is a vegan one, so they use Minor Figures oat milk. We drank 2 flats with Costa Rica, and they were delicious.

We found this cute little cafe while strolling around Trier. The owner, Marco, is very friendly and helpful! I loved my cappuccino and croissant. The girls enjoyed yummy brownies. Definitely will come back again if we come again to Trier.

Best coffee I have had outside of Melbourne, Australia which is well known for its coffee. The pastry was delicious. I came back for lunch which was a risotto and also tasty and filling. Best of all is the proprietor (I assume he is anyway) who is friendly and made me feel welcomed

I think I just found my most favorite (all-vegan) café in Trier! The chai latte was to die for :) it was not too sweet or too creamy, just perfect. The bread was also delicious, and the persons behind the counter were very nice, friendly, and speaking english too. The space was cute and cozy enough for you to sit, stare outside, and enjoy your time for a while.

Cosy vegan cafe. Small with high seating and some low window seating. Wonderful range of coffees, teas, cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes.

Lovely location just off the market square. Delicious coffees and the owner has vegan goods like muesli and baked goods. Multilingual and incredibly friendly. We came back all weekend!

Lovely coffee shop. I was on my way to Porta Nigra and found this great vegan coffee shop. Mochaccino was creamy and was enough to wake me up in the morning. Also the pastry was amazing.

The guy here gave me helpful information what I can do in Trier as a tourist. I strongly recommend this place.

The dirty chai is delicious and was up to the high quality expected in Melbourne or New Zealand, for example ❤ - hard to find in Europe!

My partners filter coffee was not strong enough, (he said it was like tea 🥺) but as it was busy we did not bother the store asking for it stronger.

Had cinnamon rolls as a snack, I'm coming back for another dirty Chai before leaving Trier, it was seriously delicious and the right balance of spices, coffee, sweetness and creaminess from the oat milk.

Very good coffee, the flavored latte was made to the perfect temperature so I could drink it shortly after leaving to explore the city.
