Rented a car for 8 days in April 2024. The actual rental was fine - check out was fast; we expected a Lexus but got a VW. The car was clean and worked fine. Car return was simple. When we checked our VISA bill, it was higher than expected and after checking with VISA (USA), they confirmed that Rent.me had converted the sum from Euros to US $ (at a favorable exchange rate for them) and charged our card in US $ despite the invoice being in Euros and not asking us about the currency switch. This is a rather poor practice - not uncommon in developping countries but Luxembourg ???
I would not NOT recommend Rent.me (aka: Alamo) in Luxembourg.
