Bacharacher Pizza & Kebab Haus

My husband and I are staying in Bacharach for the week and we’ve already eaten here twice. Completely unpretentious, only 3 tables, the owner and his wife cook everything right in front of you. Cash only, so be prepared, but our large pizza was only 8 euros. Cold drinks and beer bottles in the coolers. It’s affordable and super tasty. We’ve gotten the pizza Deniz both times. So good! Eat inside and listen to the locals at the front table talk all night. Very entertaining.

The doner kebab was delicious and so affordable! The flatbread pocket was hot and crispy on the outside and airy and soft on the inside. The kebab meat was juicy and not overly salty. All the vegetables were fresh and light.
I saw people commented that the uncle was an angry man, but he was friendly and put a lovely smile on his face when I was there. I will go back again if I stay longer here.
The only issue was they only accept cash. So do bring some when you visit them.

Stayed in Bacharach 3 days and all 3 days had dinner here. Absolutely delicious pizza and would love to go back there. One of my favourite of the entire trip. And very friendly owner is also the chef.

Stopped by on the way back from a hike. What a friendly, kind, and lovely chef/owner! The pizzas and lahmacun were really delicious and crispy. Much better vibes here than the restaurant across the street. Also open between the afternoon hours when most other restaurants were closed which was really convenient. Will definitely come back here on our next trip!

One of the best döner boxes I have ever had. The man that served us was very kind.
It is cash only and you must wait for them to make the food. Food comes out hot and is well worth the wait.

If you want a quick meal, this is perfect. I got the Doner Kebab.

Super value for good pizza. Not the best I’ve ever had but very good. Yes the owner is very serious but not mean. Only €17.50 for a large spinach/onion pizza, coke and 2 biers

Amazing Döner and Lahmacun with meat. The best of my life!!!!
The Döner bread is crunchy and the sauce is delicious. The lahmacun was even better with the tasty tomato sauce

Eat here. It was the perfect place to pick up fresh tasty kebabs to take to the river and enjoy the sun set over the Rhine. Service was excellent and the food was very fresh. We enjoyed the kebabs which came with a lot of fresh lettuce and tomatoes.

The only place open after 9pm for diner, and I didn't regret it.

Tired from hiking up to castles? This is the perfect takeout or casual dine in spot. Had a pizza, kebab and fries and they were great and affordable.

Doner kebob was delicious. Bread was hot and the meat and vegetables were perfect.
