Spacious and clean rooms. Good bed, friendly service, good breakfast. Front rooms are near busy road, the back side is quiet. Parking at hotel for 10€ per night. 15 min walk to porta negra, 10 min to main market square.

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean, very efficient, good breakfast. Easy parking. About a 10 minute brisk walk to the town centre.

The hotel location was ideal for accessing the main sites in Trier, including the pedestrian zone. The generously sized parking garage makes access by car convenient. The large well-lit bike storage area also making bike access easy. Our room was one of the few that were air conditioned. The room was very clean, with good quality bed linens, and full shutters to keep the room dark at night. The breakfast was of very high quality, with a large selection of items. The hotel allowed us to trade daily housekeeping services for a local Riesling that was a nice addition to lunch. Friendly staff spoke English. Would highly recommend this hotel, which was a good value for the money.

Fantastic location on a main road in Trier, with own car parking and walking distance to all the tourist sites in Trier. Upgraded for a larger room on the 2nd floor on the front with a bathtub. Specious and clean. We didn't have any trouble with noise from the road. Breakfast was extra, but it was worthwhile, lots on offer, although full-size fresh croissants would have been nice (minis were available).

Very friendly receptionists, great breakfast, lovely rooms, convenient location, sauna is paid but not expensive (around 6 euros including towel and bathrobe). The only issue is the noise from the road when the window is opened.

Excellent hotel - comfortable rooms, relaxing spa on the top floor, delicious breakfast, AND incredible staff. So happy we chose to stay during our visit to Trier. We are looking forward to a return visit.

A lovely hotel with a friendly staff and very comfy rooms. I honestly loved the room I stayed in. It felt like I was staying in a guest bedroom at a friend's house - with a very soft bed. I really liked my stay here and would love to stay here again in the future. It's also terrifically convenient being only a few minutes walk from Roman sites such as Aula Palatina and the Kaiserthermen baths.

The hotel is amazing! They should give them one more star! Bed is very comfy, the room was very nice, bathroom also.
We had tee and coffee in the room , breakfast was good. Staff was very kind and friendly, this is how you should treat guests, give them a raise ;) I will visit this hotel any time! I recommend it! :))))

We travelled as a couple for a night. It was a great spot to walk to all the sights and see the town. The sauna upstairs was worth it at the end of the day!
The room was spacious, furniture placed well and clean.
Staff was wonderful! Every person we met spoke great English and were very helpful.
We loved Trier, and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Next to the hotel they rent appartments, were we stayed. You can use the facilities of the hotel.
The appartment was nice and clean. It had a small kitchen (with refrigirator and a cooking plate).
The location is excellent, it is 500 meters to the city center.
Breakfast is decent, I missed fresh coffee/cappuccino.
Parking is 10 euro's a day (15 for underground parking).

Very nice hotel - very friendly service, great location (the very center of Trier, you can reach everywhere on foot), nice rooms, great breakfast (large selection), and when you need very good wi-fi. There is also a car park (I didn't use it). 10 minutes on foot to the train station Trier Süd, a little further to the main station. A bit of a complicated access to the rooms (at least some of them) but you can get used to it or treat it as an adventure 🙂 In a word - a hotel worth recommending.

This is a quality hotel that can seem slightly expensive, but there are often offers available that make the price very reasonable indeed, particularly when compared with UK hotels. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming without becoming over-familiar: they are professional in their manner (and dress) and highly competent. They speak good English but will not do so if a guest is keen to speak to them, however haltingly, in German.

The rooms are fairly plain, though our Comfort room had several pleasant prints on the walls. Everything was clean, the heating was good and fully adjustable, and the plumbing in the bathroom worked well.

The most memorable aspect for us it the buffet breakfast. There is an amazingly extensive buffet that is kept well stocked, even towards the end of the 3½ hour period during which breakfast is served. As well as muesli and other cereals, there is a range of fruit, different sorts of bread, cheeses including a lactose-free one, meats, 6 sorts of homemade jam, other jams and honey. There is also hot food: eggs cooked in several ways, including boiled eggs cooked for 5 or 7 minutes, and bacon. My list may not be complete. The breakfast room staff are vigilant and helpful without being intrusive.

This is one of the better places to stay in Trier as it's in one of the better areas to begin your walk down the "Fussgangerzone". Lot's of places on your way in to town to grab a quick bite to get you on your way and several very interesting shops to stop by as you head out for the day.

A beautiful walk to the west down a lovely parkway takes you to the Mosel river and the roman bridge, and a walk to the east takes you to the Roman baths then north to the palace and basilica.

The hotel itself has 2 wings and the rooms are quite nice. Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The bar is limited if you want something besides beer, but the breakfast is quite nice, although at rush times the staff is pretty spread out. If you're polite and keep this in mind, you will have a lovely breakfast.

The staff at the main desk are fabulous. Very helpful and polite.

I have stayed here several times and over the years in several places in Trier. I find this suits the best, I hope you do too.

Fantastic experience. We come to trier once a year for the Christmas markets and this is our favorite hotel yet. The service was really lovely with great little touches to really put the experience over the top. The Frühstück was my favorite part; it had all the best things! Next time I want to try the bowling alley or the spa. The room smelled a bit odd at first but smelled normal after opening the window for a bit. The location was fantastic, pretty close to the city center.

Great room (family room), caution low height eds. Amazing huge bath and fabulous breakfast. loved the way they displayed the boiler eggs in sand - two different coloured eggs too to denote soft and hard boiled - genius

The hotel is very comfortable, kind and very efficient attention by all personnel working there. It is located in a quiet place far from the crowded places, but walking distance from city center and all touristic locations.
We were there on December 2017 and we think the price/quality ratio is very good. Not only when compared with other hotels in Trier, but also with other previous experiences we have in many European towns.
For sure, a nice choice when staying in Trier.

Best hotel in trier, hands down. Friendly staff. Super breakfast (and cheap!). Ample parking outside (private/not free) even though the hotel is very close to the city centre. Reasonable room rates. They also have "sleep only" rooms which are very comfortable. And cheap. But no breakfast.

My had her birthday at this location and this is her second time celebrating it there. The food was just fenominal. Their Schnitzel size is perfect. And they had a good selection of beer. The location is also very convenient to the bus station or walking distance to the river walk or to down town.
