Visiting the Japanese Garden in Düsseldorf was an enchanting experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty. This meticulously landscaped garden is a serene oasis amidst the bustling city, featuring traditional Japanese elements like stone lanterns, bridges, and serene ponds. The cherry blossom trees, when in bloom, add an extra layer of charm to the already picturesque scenery. It's a perfect spot for leisurely walks, photography, or simply finding a peaceful corner to relax and reflect. Informative signs throughout the garden offer insights into Japanese culture and gardening traditions, enhancing the experience. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or someone seeking a moment of serenity, the Japanese Garden is a must-visit destination in Düsseldorf

Lovely little spot, could spend hours wondering through the park. The Japanese garden whilst small is beautify and well worth a visit from the perfectly shaped and trimmed pines to the koi pond leaving you feeling very zen.

Such a beautiful garden! It’s especially gorgeous during summer. There’s a little waterfall and other periods it’s not working. Japanese trees are all around, so beautiful! And there’s a public toilet for free which is also good.

Location pin was confusing, it’s better to go through Nords Park

The Japanese Garden is gorgeous. Please consider though, that it isn't very spacious. It is a small pond with Japanese stone lanterns and various bushes and trees. Outside of the Japanese Garden but within the Nordpark, some magnolia and cherry blossom trees are to be found and worth a short detour.

I visited the Düsseldorf Japanese Garden last Saturday and was truly impressed by its beauty! The serene environment was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I loved strolling through the garden and admiring the meticulously trimmed trees, flowers, and the calming sound of birds singing. The landscaping creates a truly tranquil atmosphere.
While the garden itself might be on the smaller side, it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a moment of peace and nature in Düsseldorf. Especially if you're already exploring Nordpark.

This place is a must visit if passing in the area! Everything about this place is so beautiful. I’ve been to a lot of gardens in Europe but this is something else. Perfect for an evening stroll & plentiful of space/benches to sit down around the garden. Highly recommend! 👍

Very nice garden. You can sit on the chair watching ducks floating on clear pond. I wish the Japanese garden section could be bigger. It’s just a small part of the park

The Japanese Garden is not the only thing about this location. In general a very pretty location to walk around, has a huge layout. There is a restaurant and aquazoo present to visit as well.
On sight parking costs money though, so have cash coins avaible to pay for the parking.

name itself is self explanatory. lots of small ponds with fishes in - small natural jacuzzi like place under tree shade to relax and enjoy the nature. Ice cream sellers are also present most of the times. Close distance to aqua museum. Be mindful of weather - try to go on a not so sunny day :-)

Lovely area within Düsseldorf's otherwise uninspiring Nord Park. Japanese maples and a small lake with some big Koi Carp make this a spot where one could happily spend some time (if it's not raining!).

This is a lovely park to relax, make a picnic or just go for a stroll. They have pretty bonsai(less, but very pretty) and also a mini version of waterfall. A pond which has fishes(I think it was the Japanese fish 'Koi'.
You might also find some groups of youngsters dressed up for cosplay,.which I loved. This park is internally connected to Nord park which is also a huge one and has small interesting areas.
