Holiday Inn Express Guetersloh, an IHG Hotel

nice location, clean rooms, the staff is very good, especially the gentleman at the bar👍

My aircon never worked for the duration of my stay, so instead they had me sign a waiver promising not to jump out of window to get the key to open the window wide. The view was nice the noise from the busy crossroads not so much. But all staff made us welcome and again some would argue their English was better than mine. Its within stone throwing distance from Gutersloh centre, there is a Rewe supermarket 5mins walk, Sparkasse cash machine, Restaurants a-plenty. Limited parking at hotel and on-street parking has max stay of 2hours but is free 8pm till 8am. There are 2 under ground multistorey car parks nearby that are also free 8pm till 8am.

A well located and modern hotel. The bar is nice and there is a free continental breakfast for all guests.
The staff are incredibly helpful and the front desk is staffed 24/7 - they happily helped me locate something I 'lost' (which ended up being behind the bed) without any issue.
The room is a good size and while it's not a high-end place it feels solid and well-designed.
It's also very well located - only a short walk from the Train station or main shopping street, there are several restaurants and shops within a short walk.
I've stayed here multiple times and it's both easy to find a room, reliable and fairly priced.

Stayed there in the past few times and always staff fulfil all my requirements. Rooms I had were clean and fresh; internet connection works fine when you get additional paid for option. Breakfast was continental and delicious. At that time I was with my family of 4, 2 children including and they have liked this place too. Honestly, can recommend this place if you planning to stay nearby. The only thing I can suggest for further hotel improvement is to have a local guide for guests in each room to see what local area have to offer. It would be beneficial for guests and local economy. Generally speaking, thumbs up.

I have really liked it there on my one night stay and we even had free breakfast which was very good and the rooms were also very nice and the bed was also really good

I stayed here for two night's and simply put it was excellent. The rooms are as one would expect for a German hotel immaculate. The hotel is not rated high because of this though it simply was the quality of the staff. They could not do enough and even with my poor deutsche they helped me find my way to a most enjoyable stay. If your in town you should stay here.

Clean. Comfy bed. Good pillows. Breakfast was above what I expected and parking was included into the price. All in all great overnight stay.

Okay for a short stay. In town a bonus to shop. Staff brilliant right down to the cleaners and kitchen. Thank you for looking after us.
