Holiday Inn Munich - Unterhaching

We loved this hotel.

Our booking agent made a mistake, and only booked 4 beds. The hotel rectified it in 15 minutes, and we were moved to a room with more than enough room for the 5 of us! So much space!!! In fact, the kids had their own room, which they were thrilled with! Excellent and efficient problem solving.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Great to have a little fridge, for our wine & cheese. Also close to HEAPS of supermarkets, where we could explore and find interesting things.

The only minor inconvenience was the location to the train station, as we walked with our teenagers and heavy backpacks. Having said that, it was Oktoberfest, and we were searching for value accommodation. It was not at all far when we did the trip without our baggage. And super quick getting the train into Munich.

I consider this hotel great value for money, it was clean, we were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!

Would absolutely recommend and would happily return.

Excellent place for a business trip or a city break with the family. Away from the city noise, this hotel offers a quick connection to Munich, yet it’s situated in a quiet area. Very good access to convenient stores and motorway.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast is offering a lot of dishes. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is also a bar that stays open until late at night where you can enjoy a lot of drinks.

After a 2-week trip through Europe, going from Zurich to Venice and finally ending up in Munich for the first day of Octoberfest before heading back to the States. I cannot begin to express how please and pleasantly surprised I was with the service and cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. Macron ( The general manager I'm assuming ) and his staff deserve 10 stars not just five. Close to public transportation and highly recommend the restaurant inside for a plush breakfast spread and great dinner. If you don't try this please you are cheating yourself. Oh by the way good I mention that it's extremely financially reasonable

We were there for 3 days! Mr. Paulo or Paolo the Italian guy was excellent!! The front desk manager who speaks Arabic, French and so on,hands down! We love it. Breakfast was soooo good. Thank you all was very good

My wife and I went to oktoberfest and we got to the holiday inn early in the morning to check in and the girl at the desk said we were to early, but we needed a shower as we had a layover at the airport so imad the manager overheard us and came over and got us a room so we could freshen up which we totally appreciated . Imad was a great help when we asked for anything we Really enjoyed our stay and imad made it special I would stay at holiday inn again and highly recommend it to anyone

One of the best hotel I’ve been. Great service , confortable beds and pillows and a very nice breakfast. Also a nice hamburgers on the bar. Thanks to make me feel like home.

Very friendly hotel, we were able to rebook two times due to Corona cancellation of the Oktoberfeste and finally enjoyed the hotel room in September 2022. Staff was very friendly, breakfast excellent and varied and the room clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to an S-bahn station and 20 minutes from the city centre of Munich

Excellent hotel, polite & cooperating staff always eager to help. Restaurant was very good, food quality is excellent and buffet had many options to choose from, during breakfast as well as lunch/dinner times. Overall very well managed facility. Without a doubt highly recommend it.

Good food / buffet. Easy to get to with public transportation. Rooms were quiet and in very good shape. I was here for a conference. As many people get up at the same time, the seating at Breakfast can be a little tight. It is worth it to get breakfast a little early. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nice clean rooms and very helpful staff. Its just a eight minute walk from the train station. Has lots of dining options and supermarkets at a five minute walk from the hotel.Lots of parking close by. Great BF and a nice cozy bar . Starbucks outlet at the lobby. Its a 45 minute train ride from Munich center or the Oktoberfest Tents.

A high quality boutique hotel with full amenities. Sauna and gym are available. Excellent service of the staff. There is a Starbucks outlet and an awesome restaurant serving both western and Bavarian cuisine. WiFi is free if you are a guest and parking is €12 a day. Highly recommend a stay here

This has become my de-facto to stay hotel. They have decent facilities and the ambience is generally quiet. They have a very good breakfast spread. The nearest train station is the Taufkirchen station and is about 400 metres from the hotel. There is also a very good Chinese restaurant in the same area as the hotel. So just perfect...

It was such a great experience, I spent their for more than 5 weeks and everyone their was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really awesome and the fresh as well. The room was more than I expected.

Had a great stay, room was always clean and the front desk so helpful with a welcoming smile. Loved the buffet breakfast and food was either piping hot for hot food and cold for cold cuts. The variety was amazing.

I have booked them with the Priority Club points. I got very spacious family room, which looked like buit from 2 standard size rooms, separate with curtain. No issue with placing all our luggages inside. Lot of space left. Many shopping possibilities around.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast buffet. Everything you could need and more. One word of caution, parking garage is extremely small (even for European standards) and for some reason seems to close after 10 or so at night with no way to get in afterward.

This is easily the best hotel in the area. Rooms are really nice - very comfortable. WiFi is free and there's a small restaurant on the ground floor with really great food. You have 2 choices for parking - there's a fee open air lot about 5 minutes walk away and an underground lot that costs 10 euro's per day.

Stayed here for the Oktoberfest. Was a 10 minute walk to the train station. 30 mins into town, trains every 10 to 20 mins. Great for exploring Munich. Spent some time in the bar, two great bar staff made the nights enjoyable. Not a bad price for beer either. Never had food apart from breakfast. Make sure you book b and b rate €20 otherwise
