Ratskeller der Stadt Heilbronn

Here is really good food, very tasty but and very slowly. We have spent hear two hours for a lunch, but we had a really good experience. The Spaghetti with prawns was really delicious!!!

Authentic Swabian cuisine with especially service oriented staff. Excellent experience! I'll be back.

Highly recommend going here if you are in Heilbronn and are looking for something authentic. Ratskeller, to my surprise specialises in Swabian food (a region in Germany). It's also located in one of the few older buildings in the city which gives it an authentic touch that other places are missing.

The staff are friendly, the food is inviting, and if you are as lucky as we were, you will meet Reiner the owner of Ratskeller who will give you an entertaining take on the history of the place (he's fluent in English too!).

Definitely coming here every time I visit Heilbronn

Four of us had dinner here last night - in two words: excellent and recommended! A beautiful room and patio in a perfect location in Heilbronn, on the main square. Our food was super German bistro fare, not cheap but good value. Good local wine list. The very best part was the service - competent, professional and friendly on the part of everyone, and superb on the part of our principal server - she was strong, smart, engaging, caring and very competent, a pleasure to dine with.
