This restaurant certainly made our experience in Bacharach even better. Excellent wines and tasty food. The host is also very friendly.

So many delicious wine choices to try! You can sample your own picks or order one of the sampling options (you get 8 different regional wines - either a dry, or semi dry selection). After all this 'sampling' we also had their flamkuchen which was perfect to pair with the wine, very filling and delicious. Super nice and friendly service!

It is nice place overall, yet I gave the place top score as it was more or less single place in Bacharach where I could buy wine at around 14.00 normal week day!!! Due to missing personnel (?) all the rest wine shops / vonotheks were closed. I even checked with somehow undfriendly Touris office.

The wine and food is decent, yet the pleasant guy running the show is overhelmed, he try to serve food, make the wine tasting - advice - make both at the same time - this works the best, run the cash desk and try to stay human in the town, which has no personnel to serve the tourists...

Food was good for what I would call " vesper" and wine we tasted let us buy a few battles. Great, thank you!

This was absolutely our favorite place in Bacharach! Enjoyed a couple nice BIG glasses of cold Riesling after a hike to the Burg Stahleck. Very laid back, unpretentious, wonderful quiet alley to spend time learning about the local white German wines of the region!!

We were so confused when we walked in the front door. The server guided us to a cute little outdoor patio though, and found us an English menu. We had a choice of 5 sampler flights - we both chose the mixed dry and sweet. And of course, I had to try the wine soup - I'd never heard of such a thing (7,5 EU. The table filled up, so my husband invited a couple who couldnt find seating to join us. They ended up being so interesting and funny. The whole afternoon was a treat. Good weather, beautiful setting, interesting fellow diners and a pretty low price. (16EU for 6, 3oz samples Plus 7,5 for the soup and 7 for my husband's apple crumble).

Lovely little place to try some local wine. Their flights are so nicely sized and they come with a little explanation of the vintage and differences. We tried the semi-dry carousel and loved all of them. Left with a few bottles of their sweeter wines. The food was also excellent. I had the lentil soup, which was their only vegan option. Patrick was a great server and fun to chat with. Definitely worth a stop.

Riesling wine from the Rhein vineyards is abundantly served, fruity and delicious. They serve good cheese tapas to accompany the wine, a very nice experience, I've been there 3 times with friends and family!

I had the rarest of things in Germany - a delicious salad. Good food and good prices. Check them out as a wine bar as well. Friendly service.
