Brickstone Hostel Ulm/Neu-Ulm

Super charming, super well-equipped, super quiet. Anja is a true pleasure to talk to and clearly likes what she's doing. Ulm has its own special vibe, and a big part of what makes it special is this hostel. I'll be back.

It was an incredible experience for a month. The hosts Anja and Ria are very friendly, accommodating, and understanding. It is very clean and regularly maintained. It was one of the best times that i had in Germany. The hosts also offer friendly local recommendations for travel,food, and other things. The best part of my experience was bicycle rent to explore regions of Neu Ulm and Ulm. I would highly recommend it to others, a worthwhile place to stay.

Amazing hostel, small but cozy, very clean, even though it is next to the street, it was not too noisy. The staff is super nice, they have a well equipped kitchen,also the common room has many things and they even had a iron,in like 5-10 minutes you are in the center. You have to pay with cash, the prices are fair.

I booked a private room for 2 nights and am very pleased with the experience.

Such a cozy place! It immediately felt like home! There was a piano, a guitar, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea. The host were really lovely as well! Also top location for a good price! I can really recommend!

Lovely hostel, rooms and shared areas were perfectly clean. Our room was a good size and the beds were comfortable, we didn't hear much noise from outside or the other guests throughout the night. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Plenty of nice touches around the place to make you feel at home!

The hostel does feel a bit like home and definitely has it's own charm. :) It's very cozy, clean, beds are comfortable, the location is central ( but not noisy) and the guys are always ready to give you tips and recommendations. Many thanks to their amazing staff! We'll be back! (that's not a threat ;) )

Have stayed here many times, it's become a home from home! This hostel has improved a lot recently with the addition of new rooms with common kitchen on the 2nd floor. Adjacent to the hostel is a newly renovated holiday flat which I can highly recommended. The hostel is clean with generous sized rooms at very reasonable prices. The common kitchen and lounge area is large and well equipped even with a Dishwasher!
Downside to this hostel is parking, the nearest free parking is more than half a kilometre away, but we all need some exercise ;)

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From really convenient location, affordable prices, comfortable rooms, spotless bathrooms, cozy common areas to the owners being just the kindest and most accommodating people - I really wish my stay was longer than a short weekend, but I plan to come back as soon as possible!

Very nice hostel in Neu-Ulm popular with long distance cyclists. We had a private room for three nights. There's a garage to out your bike/inflatable canoe in for your stay. The kitchen is blessed with a dishwasher and the showers were kept clean. It's not too far from a big supermarket or a döner kebab place. I'd stay here again if I were to return to Ulm/Neu-Ulm. City buses are for free on Saturday by the way as a trial (in 2019) so you can explore a bit more of the city's surroundings.

Without any real competition close by this could be yet another normal hostel. Though, it isn't. It is very well taken care of and the owner is committed to providing a great experience. A lot of attention is also payed to the small things and details: Fresh herbs in the back of the house, free tea and coffee, self-made marmalade at a decent price, nicely written post its ...

Feel like home name really suits for brickstone hostel. I love my time here no matter how many days or times i visit here. Anja and Rie always ready to help guests in hostel.There are super friendly to talk on every subject.
It was pleasant stay and i would recommend travellers try to spend if you visit ULM.

The location is in the heart of Neu Ulm and since it is a small city it is easy to get around just by walking out of the hostel. Very good rooms and the service was excellent. Have snacks and beer you can purchase on site. Overall highly recommend this place if you need a place to stay in Neu Ulm.

I highly recommend The Brickstone Hostel! It is very nice, cosy, fresh and gorgeous place. Everywhere is sparkling clean. The location is very good - near to the centre of Neu Ulm, as well as the centre of Ulm. Nearby there are good bus conections and all kind of shops.
The most important: the Hostelteam -Anja & Rie are so adorable and helpful that you don't want to check out.

great hostel! stayed the same night we arrived and price was normal. owner/lady was super nice and wellcoming. this hostel also felt more like a hotel than a simple hostel.

"Feel at home". And it's exactly how you feel when staying at this warm place.
Dorms are clean, prices are low, and smileys from the hosts seems to be free :)
I definite'y recommend, and if you have a bicycle they've got a sage place for it a dhou Can easilh do mechanics on thé background.

The perfect hostel! Very friendly and homely vibe. Lots of nice places nearby - can recommend the vietnamese restaurant just accross the danube

This hotel was perfect: good location, very reasonable prices, spacious and comfortable rooms, cleanliness, very practical equipped kitchen, possibility to rent bicycles for a very low price, friendly welcome and warm place. We can't wait to go back!

Very good hostel. Super clean and very friendly staff!! They also had a very secure place to store my bike for my Donau river tour. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in the apartment and one night at the hostel.
Everything was nice and very clean, totally as described. Anja was very kind.
