Fantastic! A lovely retreat into nature, not to mention the amazing vegan food (also lots of options for myself, being gluten intolerant).

Staff are very helpful and kind.

Our room was clean and had a beautiful view of the pond.

Lots to do and see in the area! Including a diverse range of flowers, and also some local storks who like to hang around.

Lenzen (the town the hotel is located in) also has lots of charm and is quite enjoyable to stroll through.

I had the pleasure of staying at the ahead Burghotel three months ago, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, including a meticulously maintained huge organic castle garden right by the River Löcknitz. The landscape alone makes this place a true sanctuary for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

The rooms were fantastic—comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly in tune with the hotel's sustainable ethos. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service. Upon learning that it was my birthday, the management went out of their way to make my stay extra special, offering several perks and ensuring that I felt truly cared for. The staff was incredibly attentive and made me feel right at home, which is something I greatly appreciate.

The culinary experience was another highlight of my stay. The vegan breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, place to V, were both delicious and varied, offering a wide range of plant-based dishes that even non-vegans would enjoy. The food was not only tasty but also thoughtfully prepared and presented.

I highly recommend ahead Burghotel to anyone seeking a unique and eco-friendly retreat. The warm and family-like atmosphere, coupled with the stunning surroundings and top-notch service, make this hotel a true gem. I am very grateful for the wonderful experience and can't wait to return.

What's not to like in this amazing hotel... The very friendly staff, the exceptional food, the strolls in the garden,the beautifull surroundings. This hotel is not only an hotel, but an inclusive experience of a better world.

Amazing stay!! The rooms are super clean and quiet and the pillows are soooo comfortable. You can actually buy them also to take home. The food is absolutely outstanding and the giant breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever seen. You can take many beautiful Day trips in the beautiful surrounding nature or use the well equipped hotel Fitness Studio or Yoga room to exercise. Another Highlight are the complimentary truffles from the best vegan Praline manufacturer Bernsteinzimmer. Overall just a really great place to chill and let yourself go for a few days.

This was the most wonderful experience I ever had concerning accomodation! What can I say about this magical place? The hotel itself is a historical place in the middle of a protected natural environment, the staff is super friendly -originally and not just a facade-friendly, there were so helpful with tips and with every detail of my stay. I rented an e-bike and explored the unique area, full of greenery, lakes, parks, historical villages, animals. And of course I took the famous bicycle path of Elbe, what a scenery! Last but not least, the food. Just heavenly. I am a vegan and for the first time in my life I eat vegan breakfast at a hotel, it was an experience, such a rich buffet and so many wonderful baked goods! And lunch and dinner at the hotel are strongly recommended, high quality gourmet in very reasonable prices. The philosophy of the hotel, sustainability and against animal cruelty, is what I embrace iny life. Congratulations for this! All in all, I found my happy place on earth, such a short journey from Berlin, I will definitely visit ahead hotel again and again. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

I spent a couple of days at Ahead Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything at the hotel is impeccable (though I am not reviewing the restaurant here)! The rooms are well built, clean and comfortable, the vegan breakfast buffet is amazing, and the park is peaceful and wonderful for rest and relaxation. A big highlight also for the all-included classes (pilates, yoga, abs) and the saunas. Everything is there for you to disconnect and take care of yourself.

We had a wonderful first wedding anniversary at the ahead Burghotel and truly enjoyed the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

In addition to a wonderful bike ride along the Elbe (you can rent eBikes and regular bicycles at the Hotel), our highlights were the delicious food, the relaxing massages and the ever cheerful staff.

The breathtaking nature that surrounds the Burghotel radiates a peace and tranquility that is so often lacking in everyday life.

I was in the hotel for the second time and the experience was amazing again. Everything is so well thought out… each detail, each product! We used the gym and we had all that we needed for training. Besides that, there are also yoga and mediation classes, and we could walk around. The breakfast is fantastic! The food is so delicious and there are so many options to choose! The restaurant in the hotel is very convenient with many good options! The Ahead Spritz is my favourite! It was such a good weekend to recharge! I can’t wait to be back!

The place to be. The ahead team made my stay perfect. Starting with an overwhelming breakfast, coffee with delicious cake and an accomplished dinner. A well thought-out concept paired with a lot of love and commitment.

Ein schöner märchenhafter Ort. Das Personal ist sehr nett und geht auf die Gastwünsche ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist toll, einen komplett veganen Ort zu haben, wo man nicht immer nachfragen muss ob und wie…
Das Essen im Restaurant bekommt von uns auch 5 Sterne. Die Stimmung im Hotel und Umgebung ist insgesamt sehr freundlich, die Menschen grüßen einander 😀😉Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben ein paar Tage mit Hund im wunderschönen Burghotel verbracht. Der Service ist großartig, wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und egal wo man ist, für den Hund gab's immer Wasser und Streicheleinheiten.

Das Zimmer ist klein aber fein, ebenso der Saunabereich. Alles insgesamt sehr sauber.

Das Burghotel umfasst eine wunderschöne Außenanlage, in der man wunderbar mit Hund spazieren gehen kann.

Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker, ebenso das ansässige Restaurant. Hunde sind dort auch überall erwünscht.

Alles in allem, können wir das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Außergewöhnlich gutes Hotel mit tollem Gesamtkonzept. Auch als Nicht-Veganer hat mir nichts gefehlt. Das Essen hatte eine sehr gute Qualität und war vielseitig und kreativ. Das Hotelgelände ist außerordentlich schön und es gibt eine Menge zu entdecken und zu tun.
Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit!

Wir waren im Sept 24 vier Nächte im Burghotel im Deluxe Zimmer. Wir haben das herrliche Zimmer, den tollen Blick, die Ruhe, die morgendliche Yoga/Pilatis Stunde, das umfangreiche Frühstück, die Erkundung Lenzer Elbtalauen mit dem Rad und abends die kleine aber sehr ansprechende Sauna genossen.
Gerne hätten wir das Restaurant noch aufgesucht, nur war dieses sehr gut gebucht, so dass die freien Slots nicht in unseren Zeitplan passten.
Wir können das vegane Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Der Standort mit Park, der nahen Elbe, den vielen Möglichkeiten naturnaher Freizeitgestaltung, dem Infobüro des BUND zum Biosphärenreserat und der Ausstellung im Museumsteil der Burg ist einfach Klasse. Der Service ist äußerst freundlich und kompetent. Die vegane Küche ist interessant, das Frühstück einfach vorzüglich. Die Zimmer sind sehr ästhetisch und umweltfreundlich eingerichtet. Das Bad ist o.K. und sauber, aber für den Preis dann etwas zu einfach und klein. Alles in allem aber sehr gelungen und ein großes Aufenthaltsvergnügen.

Der Aufenthalt im Ahead Burghotel war unglaublich schön. Alles ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und lädt zum wohlfühlen ein. Der Service war einmalig. Alle sind super nett, als bei der Anreise unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, wurde uns Kuchen spendiert, zur Rückreise gab es noch für jeden ein Wasser für die Fahrt usw. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein Traum für alle VeganerInnen und natürlich auch toll für alle anderen. Alles war super lecker, das Abendessen war nochmal besonders herausragend. In der Umgebung kann man die Natur genießen, Fahrradtouren machen oder einfach in der Burganlage entspannen (Sauna, Yoga, Tischtennis etc.) Dass alles rein pflanzlich und nachhaltig ist, macht das Erlebnis perfekt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ein Toller Aufenthalt!

Begrüßt wurden wir an einem sehr heißen Tag mit einem Erfrischungsgetränk.
Das Zimmer war super schön. Getränke in der Minibar sind inklusive, auch die kleinen Köstlichkeiten zur Begrüßung im Zimmer waren hervorragend. Das Badezimmer schön groß. An unseren Vierbeiner wurde auch gedacht. Wassernapf, Kissen und Leckerlis waren auf dem Zimmer vorhanden.
Es gab eine persönliche Willkommenskarte für uns und für unseren Hund.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es in dem Zimmer extrem warm war und keine Möglichkeit bestand die Zimmertemperatur runter zu regulieren.

Am Nachmittag waren wir Kuchen essen. Der hat auf der wunderschönen Terrasse super geschmeckt. Am Abend gab es ein veganes Grillbüfett. Das Büffet hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen.
Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war überragend. Noch nie so ein gutes veganes Frühstück bekommen.
Die Umgebung wahnsinnig schön und ist zum Abschalten super geeignet.
Was ich noch schön finden würde, wäre eine kleine Welnessoase. Es gibt zwar einen Fitnessraum (der super ausgestattet ist) und zwei Saunen, die sind aber eher gewöhnliche Fitnessstudio-Qualitätssaunen.
Aber das ist Meckern auf hohen Niveau. Wir waren begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt und werden definitiv wieder kommen.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt.
