American Review - We loved the brunch for 3 so much! 🍳🥂Everything was absolutely delicious and there was so much food (see photo)! All of their drinks were delicious as well. Highly highly recommend! Be sure to make a reservation though.

Got the avocado toast with chickpeas, which was delicious and a good portion size (especially compared to other avocado toasts I've had). They have a number of vegan and vegetarian options!
The servers were also very nice. Food and coffee were served quite quickly too! The patio is big and on a side street, so it is quiet.

In downtown Trier, past a corner of the highstreet, is this charming brunch place, but they also do meals.
I came here for Brunch from Luxembourg (its a 45mins drive) not expecting much.
First impression was the long queue, thankfully we had a reservation - so this was a good thing- people inly queue foe good stuff.
While scanning the menu we noticed the platters were generous so we opted for the sharing platter of 3 for the four us.. a very wise choice!
Service was amazing and evert Artisan bread on that platter was to die for.. I rarely pay 5* compliments to brunch places but this is well earned!

We love Leanis Cafe! The food is always fresh and the service is absolutely awesome! They are so kind and just make for a great brunch/lunch or drinks atmosphere. We got the breakfast platter for 2 which is great and they have all sorts of cold/hot coffees! Love the iced latte! Great atmosphere inside and outside!

We were lucky enough to get a place here and this place didn’t disappoint us. We went there with a one year old baby and the staff was very accommodating.
We ordered banana bread, porridge and avocado scrambled egg toast and everything was delicious.
We even got champagne on the house because we had to move our spot to accommodate more people. Such a lovely gesture.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a vegan vegetarian breakfast brunch place and don’t forget to book a table.

Very good food, large and very tasty portions and specialty coffee. Very kind staff and pleasant atmosphere. At peak times it can be a bit chaotic.
The recommendation would be to have a reservation made, otherwise you risk not getting a seat and you have to wait. Although they also have tables outside, on the terrace, they are not always arranged so that you can sit outside. I was outside once, but there were a lot of bees around me.

Nice place for breakfast. Prices are a bit above average but worth it, large sized portions and very tasty. Friendly service. Bad music.

Poppy and modern design with a youthful atmosphere. Service is in English or German. Seems like a place the locals enjoy. I got a French toast plate, but I saw a family with a huge charcuterie board that looked so delicious. The plating was really impressive for a breakfast place.

What an amazing, hip & fun place. Customer service is great, and the owner was super friendly & nice to chat with. The porridge was filled with fresh fruits, nuts & seeds. I found it delicious & healthy! The coffee is by far the best I’ve had. I highly recommend this place!

Summary: Best breakfast/cafe in Trier! This place is my family's go-to spot when we are in Trier. My kids love their pancakes with agave, eggs and bacon. My wife loves their Matcha Latte. I am somewhat a foodie and haven't found a single thing on the menu that I have not loved :)

Context: My family and I have been on an extended trip in Trier for multiple months. Upon initially living in the city, we had a hard time finding places that were consistently open and had high quality food and drinks, especially in the morning and afternoon. Leanis Cafe was an answered prayer! We have essentially eaten there everyday and it has become our favorite place in Trier.

The owners of the cafe are phenomenal. They are very hands on with the operation and make the atmosphere very warm, inviting, and make your experience personalized.

Because of their example, the entire staff are extremely friendly, professional, detail oriented with any dietary restrictions (my wife has celiac), and go above and beyond with any specific needs, which was clutch with our two little kids! Special shout out and thanks to Didi, Paula, Mariza, Vica, Alyssa, Ayham, and the entire front staff! Y'all made our experience so memorable and special. They eventually memorized our orders and had stuff ready for us quickly when we came to eat.

Bottom line, Leanis is obviously a local favorite and was our favorite place for a multitude of reasons. From the food, to the staff, to the owners, everything about Leanis Cafe was an easy 5 star experience. Thank you Vlora and team Leanis, you blessed our family immensely!

The menu is great and the location is super good in the heart of Trier. Super cute coffe shop and they have clean washrooms and a changing table for babies:)

The coffee here is really good, and so is the food such as the porridge and croissants with chocolate and Oreo. Most importantly, the employees are very nice and kind people! I definitely recommend this place.
