Eiscafé Dolce Italia

Twice a year we go to the Gülle Mülle retreat and a traditional pilgrimage is on Saturday or Sunday for ice cream. A long walk of around 6km in one direction all the way to Altdiez and this ice cream place. It's worth it even though we are dead tired after and have caught too much sun.
They have a large selection of 20 ice cream flavors if I remember correctly. They serve the classic waffle cone or paper cup. Ice cream is light yet full of flavor, classic gelato, albeit probably a premade mix, but good none the less.
They have bowls of typical sundaes, like after eight, strawberry and nuts, but also creative spaghetti ice cream sorts like carbonara with caramel croquant. We loved it and the kids too.
Service is very pleasant and they handle both the cafe and the ice cream. The line is long, but that shows how loved the place is, since not even that would discourage people.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak at least three languages English, German and Italian, not sure about any Slavic, I didn't ask.
People who order ice cream on the go, are still entitled to freshen up in the customers bathroom, which makes it a perfect place to stop by.
The atmosphere is very nice, though it can get a bit crowded with lots of people and kids causing chaos, but nothing beyond the usual.
Overall I thoroughly recommend it and if you are ever nearby you owe it to yourself to get a treat.

Sehr leckeres Eis und sehr nettes Personal. Wegen Personalmangel gab es Selbstbedienung was auch super funktioniert hat.

Leckeres Eis, Crepes, Cappuccino und vieles mehr, gibt es in diesem idyllischen Eiscafé in Diez(Rheinland Pfalz). Sehr freundliche Inhaber. Diez grenzt direkt an Limburg/Lahn. Ein Ausflug von Hessen rüber nach Diez lohnt sich.

Super leckerer Giotto-Becher, gute größe der Kugeln, Eis Sorte probieren war möglich, beim Tische zusammenschieben wurde vom Personal geholfen. Wir waren zu Besuch bei Freunden und verstehen warum sie diese Eisdiele in Diez empfehlen :)

Leckere Eisbecher zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Leider gab es keinen Tischservice und wir mußten die leeren Becher unserer Vorgängerinnen weg bringen.

Superleckeres original italienisches Eis und auch verschiedene andere italienische Spezialitäten und Snacks wie Antipasti-Teller. Und sehr liebe Besitzer, die jeden auf typisch italienische Art und Weise herzlich willkommen heißen. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne her.
