Burghaun

This is not a train station in the common context but it is an easy-to-access platform. In a continent that is not always wheelchair friendly, the ramps are long but safe as long as you have brakes. The signs designate which of the two tracks take you to either Fulda (south via Huenfeld) or Kassel (north via Bad Hersfeld). As there is no station building but a vending machine, it will be handy to look at a map and plan your ride BEFORE inserting coins/cash so you don't over pay ESPECIALLY if you do not read German. If you're traveling with a family look for the family ticket option to save some money. Not all trains will stop there but the big yellow schedules are time accurate and very reliable. It would be perfect with a small coffee shop but there isn't enough traffic to support it. The nearest one would be in Huenfeld and it's not always open.
