The place has a stunning design for coffee lovers.
Additionally they brew their own coffee, which is a quick sign of a good coffee.

The owner is friendly and the service is quick.
The prices are cheap and you definitely get more than what you pay for.

I bought a cappuccino and a cortado.
They both tasted superb.

Highly recommended for coffee lovers.

From what I can tell, the only real 3rd wave coffee in Aachen….pretty awesome

They have their own roastery and the coffee was so good. In my 5 day trip to Aachen, I went there 2 times and both times I drank specialty coffee in drip V60.

For serious coffee lovers! Excellent Coffee and knowledgable staff. I literally followed my nose and was not disappointed😁 It is rare to find this standard of coffee in this part of the world randomly...good little shop there too🙂 If you have no tolerance in your life for bad or average coffee, you should just make this your regular go-to. I also appreciated the chill vibe and music🙂

This is a coffee roaster/café with character.
There's usually a story behind extraordinary places like this, because they tend to be fuelled solely by passion. And Erhard is a character who has passion... (check the name of the house espresso blend)... I find him pleasant, interesting and enjoyable to chat to (as I do his colleagues and some of his regulars too).

It took months to properly start chatting.. but hey.. who can complain about months of great coffee and very wise guidance on my travels through the Erhard selection... a surprisingly large selection at that as well.

You really can't go wrong here if you are/want to become a coffee connoisseur (if you dare to verge away from the darker side of coffee) or just have consistently good espresso based drinks with some nice surprises on their "second grinder rotation" they have going on.

Plus, it's always a pleasure to walk up and see such a nice mixed set of happy people enjoying their coffee break in the bench up front.

Tip: My favourite is Giocoso, look for the hand drawn jaguar on the bag. If you can figure out who drew it, I dare to say that you can call yourself a regular.

Most delicious coffee in town, in the country. Absolutely recommended! Only in Vienna I have had a similar pleasant coffee indulgence so far. I love their cappuccino with oat milk. Vegan Fans > must try :D thank you for brewing coffee with so much expertise and love ! You are the best

Super gemütliches kleines Café, bzw. Rösterei mitten im Jakobsviertel.

Wir sind eher spontan hier gelandet und ich dachte ich nehme mal eine Packung Espresso Bohnen für daheim mit. Auswahl gibt’s genug, inkl. freundlicher Beratung!

Da der kleine - wirklich sehr kleine - Außenbereich irgendwie ziemlich einladend wirkte haben wir direkt schon mal vor Ort einen Flat White und einen Espresso probiert. Qualität zu fairem Preis!

Auch ansonsten ist das Ambiente wirklich nett, sehr minimalistisch, aber gerade durch den Trommelröster vor Ort ziemlich einzigartig!

Kuchen gibt es keinen - eben weil man sich auf den Kaffee konzentrieren will. Finde ich persönlich super und in keinster Weise negativ, ganz im Gegenteil. Schon zu oft ziemlich schlechten Kuchen zum relativ guten Kaffee serviert bekommen 😅Also dabei bleiben, was man wirklich kann!
