Café Krüger

While the breakfast menu at this cafe wasn't quite my style, it did lead me to an unexpected delight: their incredible cupcakes! Forget the lack of morning fare, because the red velvet here is a true hidden gem - I haven't found one this good in ages! The mango cupcake was equally delicious, bursting with fresh flavor.

Be warned, though, this popularity comes with a price. The place can get crowded, with lines forming for their spectacular cakes. But for a taste like this, a little wait is definitely worth it! If you're looking for unique and delicious cupcakes, this cafe is a must-visit, even if you skip the breakfast menu.

Excellent selection, more unique options than most bakeries I've been to in Leipzig. Beautiful cakes that take my breath away! Good prices, very delicious, very kind and patient worker behind the counter.

2024:: well they have definitely hired some talent or just learned how to expand their baking horizons! Which ever it is I’m happy. They have definitely gotten better cakes and more offerings since my first visit.
Now when I know I need good cakes and don’t have time to bake, I know I can always stop by and find what I need here.

2019:: I mean it's nothing to write home about. Mediocre 'German' cakes, which means bland and no sugar. I was very disappointed in the cakes as my boyfriend (a German) said they are great. Sorry but the cakes are cattered to Germans who don't know anything about baking cakes...only baking bread.

Spontan hier eingekehrt und obwohl fast alle Tische reserviert waren, wurde mir kurzerhand ein Platz zugewiesen. Ich hatte Kuchen/Torte inklusive Kaffee bestellt und wurde sehr zügig und freundlich bedient. Kurz nach mir füllte sich das Café unter anderem auch mit LaufKundschaft. Trotzdem ging alles zügig und weiterhin freundlich vonstatten.
Macht weiter so. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder

Wir können das Kaffee nur empfehlen, hausgemachte Kuchen und Torten wie bei Omi. Super freundliches Personal. Vielfältiges Angebot das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein ganz besonderes Dank an das Team für unsere tolle Torte zu unserem ersten Hochzeitstag. Einfach zauberhaft und super lecker.

Unbedingt genügend Zeit und Geduld mitbringen, so kann man das tolle Café sehr genießen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, geschmeckt und der Besuch hat uns wunderbar entschleunigt. Vielen Dank!

Eine Mega Auswahl an Torten, Kuchen, Cupcakes und Co.
Mein Favorit ist die Mangosahne und Moccasahne Torte, wobei es noch so viele andere tolle Sorten zum probieren gibt 😉
Ist wirklich zu empfehlen.
Wir haben vor kurzem auch Kuchen draußen im Freisitz gegessen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient.
Zum mitnehmen geht natürlich auch immer und dann schön im Park oder im Garten genießen 🤗👍

Preis/Leistung absolut zu empfehlen und dazu eine riesige Auswahl von Kuchen und Torten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
