Café Middelberg

I came here yesterday to buy my friend some small graduation gift and I have had a great experience!

I was standing there looking at chocolate option and they offer to help enthusiastically and also offer a slightly cheaper option with a slightly different packaging. We love the ladybug decoration which she also fulfill our wish.

We also try the chocolate ourself and it was really nice. I would highly recommend trying the truffel and cappucino.

Definitely coming for cakes next time!

This place is mainly known for its desserts and it offers a plethora of them! Right from all sorts of confectioneries to delicious cakes, this is the go-to place in Aachen. If you are craving something sweet or just want to have coffee in a cozy Cafe, this is the spot! I really enjoyed the chocolate cake with fruits on top and coffee. The ambience is beautiful and service is fast. You can pay via card if the bill is more than 10€. A must recommend in the category of cafe's in Aachen :)

The waiter and the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The cakes are delicious we like to spend some coffee time with friends here. We recommend this place.

Excellent food, perfect portion, not too big, not too small. And for 12,25 we also had coffee or mineral water included in the price, a mixed salad and a small ice cream. The ambient is cozy, perfect for cold weather but not only. And the waitress was really nice and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The top choice in Aachen for Torten (fancy artisan cakes). Noone does it better than Middelberg, for over 30 years now!

Back to the Torten, which are the reason I come. Butter cream, white chocolate, Sahne (whipped cream), fruit, coffee, perfectly roasted nuts, all expertly combined and arranged to become works of art in taste and presentation. Check out my pictures - unbelievable.
Ambience is modern yet still Aachen medieval charm, and nicely decorated. Service is pleasant and enjoyable - Aachen accent with east European tilt 😂.
If only the latte were made with fresh milk instead of H-Milch.

Amazing experience of having freshly baked and beautifully decorated cakes and pastries with morning breakfast and coffee! One of the most beautiful cafes around in Aachen! The employees are really welcoming!

delicious patisserie and ice cream also good customer service

Schlemmerbuffet is about 7,90 euro available only on Thursday and had a few variety of collection of pastries. I loved the taste. Service was good and the atmosohere was pretty good. There are seperate toilets.

I ordered Flockensahnetorte. I have to say that it was one of the best cakes I had in my life, ever! It was delicious!!! I would differently go back next time I visit the town and try each one of them! Having a cup of coffee and Flockensahnetorte here was my best memory in this town!

As usual, very delicious cakes and smiling staff. It was really nice spending time sitting outside.

Even with the busy hours during the christmas market the service was great. One of the best cakes is had, and waitress packed the leftovers for us, which i did not expect!

Breakfast buffet is definitely worth a visit. Large selection of bread, fruits, cheese, meat, yoghurts and more.

We had breakfast on Sunday and it was good, varied and super friendly staff. The wide range of cakes is impressive.

I was looking for a reasonably priced cake. Other places in aachen had big cakes that costs a lot. Went here at Christmas eve and found every small cake at 19€ flat.
