Such an inviting place! So beautiful inside, both modern and aristocratic. Staff very competent, friendly and quick. Tasty filter coffee and cappuccino. Wonderful local specialties! Not to miss!

Beautiful ambience right in the heart of the city center and very close to old church. Busy dying morning but considerably quite and calm during afternoons. Nice place to have a Sunday brunch. Lot of open options on the menu with seasonal vegetables and vegan options. Beautiful place with lots of bread choices. Is wheelchair friendly and has outdoor seating option during summer. Dog friendly property. Serves breakfast, to-go and brunches. Seats approx. 50 people.

I had a wonderful time at the café. The cakes were absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Despite arriving late, the staff was accommodating and attentive, making me feel welcome and comfortable. Additionally, the aperitivo selection complemented the cakes perfectly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful combination of delectable cakes and top-notch service.

Cake that is that bit tastier and lighter on the tongue than the already excellent competition. Rebuilding in the summer of 2022, so let's see if they shake off the distinctly German 80s vibe that they have indoors...

I have visited Café Sommer so often you could say I am a Regular or "Stammkunde". I love it here!
They are located near the church on Willhelmstraße and right amoungst all the shops. I like to sit outside when the weather is good and watch the people go by. They have seating in front and back .
The servers are so friendly and professional, I have never been disappointed and always feel right at home. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. They have lunch sepcials everyday which includes a small dessert! But I must say my favorite meal is the Quiche Lorraine. You really can not go wrong!
The coffee is wonderful and they have a nice selection of teas too. You must also have some cake or take some home with you. My favorite's are the Schwartzwald and the Eierlikör. I hope you enjoy your time there as much as I did!

I'm in Brazil and I made a purchase on their website to deliver to a friend who is living in Reutlingen. I managed to contact via Messenger on Facebook and they delivered the chocolates with a handwritten card in less than 1 hour. I recommend the service! And I leave the suggestion to have more gift kits on the website and also include the delivery fee :-)

I’ve walked by this place my whole life and always thought of it as a place for old people. Then I got invited to a breakfast with a larger party in their so called “Alte Backstube”. I had no clue what to expect, so when I walked through the very old school and traditional café in the front I was more than surprised to find a modern and super cool back part, the Alte Backstube. The buffet was great. Lots to choose from and the minute something ran out, they refilled it. The staff was very friendly. I can definitely recommend this place for larger parties.
