LOTUS Markt - Indian Grocery Store

The Sortiment has drastically improved since the change of management. They are now even offering deals for regular customers and willing to go above and beyond in case customer wants something specific. Nice advantage is that it is also a packet shop for most of the transport service providers like DHL, Hermes, DPD, GLS, and UPS.

The shop is right in front of the bus stop , which makes travel easier! You can get Fresh vegetables every week, and you can be informed via their WhatsApp group when the fresh vegetables or new item arrives in the shop. The best part is that we could request them to even get any items that are not available in the shop. This would be my go to shop for buying Fresh Indian veggies/food items and Indian spices .

I feel there is no need for the owner to plead and apologize the commenting person. Small mistakes do happen everywhere.

People commenting should first understand that it is a privilege for them to have an Indian shop in their small town and the owner is actually doing them a favor by running the shop.

Unlike other big supermarket chains where they employ many people for doing different tasks, people don't realize that the owners in these small shops have to manage everything by themselves.The margins in grocery items are paper thin and the small shops hardly make any profits to meet their huge expenses.

Local people should come forward to help those shop people if they can, instead of trying to pull their legs.
Once the owners get frustrated and close the business or move to another city, these people will realize what they have lost.

Good Indian market for Indian spices, lentils n all other stuff

Truly an Indian Grocery Store. The customers are treated very friendly and the best part is they themselves ask for feedback, both positive and negative. They are constantly improving their service, buying options and numbers of products. The prices are comparable and the Indian festival offers make them even more special. They also have some student discount on the final bill, considering the financial interests of the students, which is very considerate of them.

A fantastic little hidden gem! It was such a pleasure to find this new shop with such an extensive selection of Indian ingredients (particularly rice, pickles, spices) and fresh produce (inc. vegetables, paneer, sweets, etc.)... everything that you need for a South Asian kitchen! Although small, the selection compares well with larger shops (in Frankfurt, for example) and the prices are very good! A really great addition for Ingolstadt/Mailing-Feldkirschen.

The shop sells a wide variety of Indian Groceries and fresh vegetables, fruit commonly available in India and south east asia. They also get typical indian snacks, chaat items, sweets, frozen food items, ayurvedic cosmetic products and a wide range of indian spices, pickles and chutneys and healthy breakfast ready-mix. Must visit! :)

From Indian stuff perspective, this is heaven! I get everything Indian right from rice, Maggie, dals, and even parachute hair oil! The owners are super nice and they even arranged a half kg vagbakri chai pack for me! Feels like I am still in India whenever I visit this place 🙂

Many Indian vegetables available here. Also you can get all Indian spices. I got mothi laddus, rasagullas. Sure, worthy place to buy Indian stuffs.

I have lived an Hamburg before and I have seen three Indian stores there . So now after seeing Lotus it makes it the 4th store in Germany. Out of all 4 stores, I found this Lotus store to be the 2nd biggest in terms of variety. The store managers are very helpful and jolly.

Lot of Indian variety groceries are available here, which was missing in Ingolstadt. Prices compared to other shops are relatively fair. I would recommend everyone to visit this shop.

Good collection of items and at a competitive price. Highly recommend everyone to check it out. Almost all of the items are available and the shopkeeper is very friendly.

I'm very happy to have this store close to me. Ayurvedian and indian Soulfood all over the place. And always a nice chat and good service with/from the helpful team.
