Not just any other ordinary Indian grocery store.
One of my friends took me there for breakfast on Saturday. To my surprise, they serve South Indian food on Saturday afternoons. They serve freshly made dosa, vada, and idli. The food is so good that words can't do justice. I haven't tried idli so soft anywhere else in Germany. Mango lassi and chai are my favorite drinks there. My recommendation is the menu in which they serve a small portion of dosa along with idli and vada.
They have limited seating, and they run out of food sometimes late afternoons. I would advise you to go around noon and make a reservation if you are going with a big group.
Service is good. The owner is courteous and speaks English as well.
The price is justified for the food quality, although it is the only thing that is stopping me from going there every Saturday afternoon.
They also have a good collection of Indian grocery items. I have found there Haldiram's gol-gappe which is not an easy find.
They accept card payments only from EC cards.

Deliecious and outstanding food. Haven't tasted anything like this outside India before. Happy and lucky to dicover this shop/restaurant in Heidelberg. Perfectly ayurvedicly spiced. Will use every opportunity to go there from now on. Every day they have a different menue. Highly recommended if you are looking for ayurvedic food.

We were late and food was over. However, the owner Usha ji was warm in welcoming us. Purchased some required groceries. Do visit the place for Indian food and Indian groceries.

Being a south Indian and finding an authentic south Indian store/restaurant is a real bliss. I took Idly. Idly was soft and the taste of sambar was simply amazing and mouth watering. I am definitely going to ask her the recipe when I visit the store/restaurant again.

High quality Home made food. Worth the money. I loved how their mango lassi was not the average over sweetened drink. Instead it was less sweet, with spices and so good for your tummy😉 very friendly owners as well👍

Tastiest Indian food I’ve ever tried here in Heidelberg. Highly recommended for vegan s or vegetarians. Also the owner is really friendly. I will go there again.

As an Indian I can attest that the Dosa is authentic. A bit too salty.

The reviews that complain about prices don't understand that its expensive to ship things all the way from India. The shipping costs more than the product itself.

Though the shop is really small, the food is indeed fresh and delicious. Dosa is a weekend routine now! Must check out restaurant in Heidelberg.

They are sold out fast. So come early or pre order!
