Bliss

Bliss was recommended by a friend and we could not have been more satisfied. The atmosphere, service AND food were top notch. The homemade bread and pasta was delicious as was everything else we had (octopus, goat cheese salad, broccoli soufflé, mahi mahi, spaghetti aioli, beef tenderloin, gnocchi and lobster fra diavlo)

My wife and I went for Valentine's day. Prix fixe menu. Everything was absolutely great! The atmosphere was romantic and the service was good. We will be going back.

Wonderful food, ambience, and service.
Start your dinner with a tasty cocktail, continue with mouthwatering appetizers and main courses, wash them down with very good wine. Their Italian house wines are inexpensive but also very good. Don’t forget the chocolate lava cake. I always try new restaurants but keep returning to Bliss, year after year, more than once in a vacation week. The owners are there, making every guest feel welcome.

What a hidden gem! A gorgeous and unique venue. It felt like sitting in a courtyard beside a pool in Italy. The owner welcomed us and shared the evening specials. The employees were impeccable. The food was on point, simply perfect.

I had the daily special which was a red snapper filet and my husband had the Churracio. We shared the beef carpaccio as an appetizer and the Tiramisu for desert... to die for. The wine selection is excellent with a description of each bottle.

The bliss is now one of our "go to's" when we visit Cabarete. Thank you for an excellent dining experience and evening.

After several visits to other restaurants in Cabarete, I have to say that Bliss Restaurant is by far the best restaurant in Cabarete.

Atmosphere, food and service 100% - you feel "in good hands" here. We are very happy to come back.

Rightly one of the best restaurants in Cabarete. Great atmosphere and great food. Only the service does not live up to the whole 100%, but we are not here in Europe. Today we were surprised with the stuffed chicken and Angus tenderloin, excellent, just excellent 🤗 We like to come back again.

During our 2-week stay in Cabarete e visited the Bliss numerous times. Probably the best restaurant in Cabarete. Super nice food, great ambiente and good service. No cheap, prices are ok for the quality of food. Highly recommended ! :)

Wonderful ambience, attentive staff, and - of course - great food.
Grilled octopus was delicious, the Mahi Mahi carpaccio was perfect, and the porcini stuffed ravioli burst of flavor.
The cocktails are real and professionally mixed. Manhattan could have used a real Maraschino cherry, but we'll forgive that one.
Everything was perfect, we could sit there for an entire evening.
And they have real desert. A great finish for the meal. We had Tiramisu and 2 kinds of Creme Brulee.
Restaurant Tuva is great too, but Bliss is definitely our favorite place.
By the way, you can park behind the building, and reservations are requested.
You also get a discount of 15% off the menu price, if you pay cash.

Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly owners and extremely delicious food! We cleaned off every plate we ordered: polipo, tuna tartare, gazpacho and mahi mahi with tomato cream. We wanted to order everything on the menu! We were also given gluten free toast which was crispy and tasty. Bliss is definitely being saved as a spot to visit next time we come to Cabarete! Amazing, amazing food. Definitely a fine dining experience and one of the best restaurants in Cab. Steak is fantastic. Best tapenade I've ever had in my life. You can get escargot here. One of the best dining experiences (if not the best) in Cab and I recommend it to everyone. Great for large groups! It's off the beaten path - take a right or left into Callejon de la Loma (technically an alley, and depends on which direction you're coming from as you're passing Ocean Dream.) The restaurant is never really packed as a result, great place to bring a date, has a romantic vibe. Lots of space in the restaurant so you won't be sitting close to others.

I believe the couple that owns the restaurant is from Spain. They were fabulous and welcoming and I'm so glad they're sharing their culinary traditions and expertise with the rest of the world. I think I've been here about five times and their specials were well thought out and do not disappoint. They're also very adventurous with the specials but I have to say I was not a fan of the "chocolate ravioli" (ravioli with a chocolate filling, not a dessert)... My friend ordered this and I tried it and it was well prepared... but let's just say it tasted exactly the way you expect chocolate ravioli to taste...

A warning for diners: wear long pants and long sleeves. DO NOT sit next to the pool. Mosquitos will absolutely eat you alive. It's still 100% worth it. They accept American Express.

Gnocchi, octopus, gazpacho were all super delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. The atmosphere is an oasis in the middle of this noisy country. Balinese style interior, very nice!

I loved absolutely everything! This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to in the Dominican Republic, or anywhere in the world. Everything was phenomenal. I highly recommend it. The shrimp / spinach soufflé is to die for, the escargot is one of the best I’ve ever had. Excellent service was the cherry on top!

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and really nice people.

Lovely place and charming set up with a lot of little attention to details.

The hot little breads and spreads as starters were perfect. The seafood pasta were delicious and I really enjoyed the desert selection!
The wine list is impressive and
we had some very good and fresh wine by the glass.

Turn south at the only traffic light in town and it's right there on your left. Very unassuming exterior but surprises await inside! Hidden gem only a few feet off the main highway. Walk into another world of Asian-themed dining areas around a swimming pool. Buddhas of various sizes & colors everywhere. Great ambiance, music. Excellent food - best anywhere in this area so far- with Italian specialties. Nothing wrong with this place! Can only find the photo of my dessert, so enjoy a look at this coconut & pineapple delight!

This is the spot to be. 10/10 for all.

My wife and I frequent many of the restuarants in the Cabarete/PP/Sosua area. Bliss remains our favorite for many years !

Date night with my wife. Food was superb and restaurant is gorgeous. We've been looking for a Montreal quality restaurant to go to and we finally found it. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, especially the beef ravioli. Service was great and the owner was very friendly. The only complaint was that it took a little while to get our check. Normally is nice not to feel rushed out at the end of a meal, but we had a tired kiddo. That wasn't worth deducting a star though.
