Casa Divina Eco Lodge

I just spent two nights here with my husband and seven year old son. We had one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in while living in Ecuador. We enjoyed the small hikes around the property and hanging out on our balcony. We saw toucans and other interesting birds from the dining area. The food was amazing! The service was also top notch!

Very quiet lodge in a lush cloud forest! the staff was very helpful , they even prepared us breakfast at 445 am when we had a birding excursion early in the morning! loved the main lodge room where you have free coffee and tea all day and may husband and I had massages in a beautiful room with all windows felt like I was in the jungle!! room was great, every night falling asleep to the wonderful sounds of the forest! great choice in mindo to stay out of the town even though you can easily walk to town in 20-30 minutes and its very safe.

To be in the trees watching birds here was heaven, it is truly named well. Very comfortable and CLEAN! The food in the restaurant is very good, much of it from onsite and there was no problem accommodating our special diets. If you want comfort, sustainability and care for mother earth, this is your spot to birdwatch and relax to your heart's content.

We stayed 2 nights at Casa Divina, and wish we could have stayed longer. The location, staff, service and food were all outstanding. This place was a treasure of a find.

It's been a pleasure to stay at Casa Divina Lodge, the rooms are spacious and lovely and tastefully decorated, The service impeccable, the observation platform is fantastic, I enjoyed everything. The Sabina Tour Early Bird with Javier has been great , super knowledgeable guide, I will come back!

Molly (owner) and Sabina (daughter) were very warm, welcoming and wise (I.e. knew the area well.). Cabins had everything you need. Meals were good and plated beautifully. You are in a cabin, but it feels like you are in a treehouse due to the extremely dense and beautiful jungle foliage. The ONLY thing needing work is the signage directing you to the hotel. Our driver had a little trouble finding Casa Divina. FIVE stars!!

Stop your search and book Casa Divina! It’s a gorgeous property (2 small private hiking trails on site), a 15 minute straight walk into downtown Mindo but feels like a world away. The cabins are gorgeous! The observation deck is like no other! The breakfast is included and you can purchase drinks, snacks, dinner etc. We loved our stay here.

Our family (3 kids ages 9-14) had an amazing time staying at Casa Divina! We had the spacious and beautiful family cabin, and it was so quiet and private and nestled in the jungle. The communal spaces in the lodge are close by and cozy. We especially enjoyed the upper deck, where we birdwatched many early mornings and saw so many birds. We loved the location of the lodge too- close enough to walk 20 minutes or so to town, and so easy to get a $2 taxi ride back to the lodge. We also walked from the lodge to the butterfly garden, as well as to the chairlift up to the reserve for a beautiful waterfall hike, and also up the trails on the property to go zip lining . So nice to just leave on foot from the lodge to so many beautiful places! The staff was also wonderful and attentive and the food was delicious and plentiful:) This is such a great place for families- our kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Divina in July. The accommodations were just as described the food and service were wonderful. Molly couldn't have been more helpful when I found out our plane would be too late for dinner at Casa. She helped me make reservations for a great meal for my group on arrival at the airport. The birding and wildlife were excellent. It's a long walk to town by US standards but they were helpful in providing transportation as well. Efraim is a great naturalist and it is great to have him take you on a nature hike.

This place is incredible!! Stay is super friendly and accomodating as is the owner. Very personal and the rooms are gorgeous and very clean. Its in the cloud forest away from city and is relaxing. The balcony is the best and jorge makes a great coffee! Food is fabulous
